After finishing up breakfast the two began cleaning the dishes.
"Do you want to listen to music?" Juniper questioned as she handed Ollie a dish.
"Sure. Could we listen to 'Oh Ms. Believer" by Twenty One Pilots?"
Juniper answered Ollie's question by typing in the song and pressing play.
Oh, miss believer, my pretty sleeper
Your twisted mind is like snow on the road
Your shaking shoulders prove that it's colder
Inside your head than the winter of dead
Ollie began to hum while she scrubbed the dishes.
I will tell you I love you
But the muffs on your ears will cater your fears
My nose and feet are running as we start
travel through snow
Together we go (together we go)
We get colder
As we grow older
We will walk
So much slower
She looked up from the dish she was working on cleaning and noticed Juniper was nowhere to be seen.
"Juni?" Ollie quietly whispered.
"Hmm," Juniper wrapped her arms around Ollie's waist from behind.
Ollie inhaled a sharp breath and squeaked a little. She put the dish she just finished washing on the drying rack and turned around to face Juniper. She looked up into the taller girl's eyes. They were dark brown, almost black, with gorgeous golden flecks in them when they hit the light.
You're eyes are goddamn gorgeous, Ollie said in her head.
The corners of Juniper's full pink lips slowly turned up into a smirk.
"You're eyes are fucking gorgeous, too," Juniper said quietly in a raspy tone.
"What?"
"You said my eyes are goddamn gorgeous. So now I am telling you your eyes are fucking gorgeous a well."
"But I never said tha-"
"You said that out loud, Ol."
"Oh."
Ollie pushed her head into Juniper's chest trying to hide her face that was heating up and turning red.
"You're cute," Juniper mumbled.
"Hmm?"
"Oh , it was nothing."
"Okay."
Ollie turned back toward the dishes and began washing and humming once more. Juniper stayed in position of hugging Ollie from behind and rested her head on top of the shorter girl's.
...
"Do you want to watch a movie, Ol?"
"Sure."
The two girls sat on the sofa in Ollie's living room. Juniper was sitting cross legged with Ollie's head in her lap. She was lying across the couch with her legs bent slightly.
"Do want to watch the Lion King?" Juniper asked, scrolling through Netflix.
"I've never seen it."
