"Man we are so late!" Ellie exclaimed running through the college doors. She was freaking out. Being late was not something she liked being.

"Yes yes I'm very aware of how late we are but it is in no way my fault that I over slept and forgot to get up this morning" said Emily.

That morning Emily had 'forgotten' to get up as she put it. This meant that when Ellie arrived to take them to college that morning she was sat at the kitchen table shovelling cereal into her mouth extremely slowly. She was still sat in her pyjamas with the strap to her vest top hanging off her shoulder. Now they were late to their Psychology class.

"We'll just tell them their was an accident on the road on the way here" Emily tried to convince Ellie, "involving a taxi."

"A taxi?" Ellie questioned.

"Yes a taxi, have you got any better ideas?!"

Ellie realised she didn't so sighed. "Okay fine, whatever, there was an accident but don't mention the taxi thing because that implies we know more than we actually do even though we know nothing because the accident didn't happen!"

"Calm down, Ellie. Everything will be fine! We've never been late before so I doubt anything bad will happen" Emily tried to convince Ellie.

"Wait, so you girls didn't actually know there had been an accident on the road that day?" the Boss asked.

"Um no not exactly" Ellie explained. This was going even worse than they thought it was going to.

"Right okay carry on" the Boss sounded exasperated, even though they'd only been telling the story for about 2 minutes.

Finally when they managed to reach their classroom, they peeked round the cream traditional classroom door, with a thick window covered in a criss-cross pattern of lines. Everything looked fine apart from "This isn't our normal class is it?" Ellie asked.

"Um...no I don't think so but you know we don't really talk to people so maybe everyone's just changed seats" however Emily didn't sound convinced, "let's just go in and sit at the back."

Ellie nodded in agreement but still wasn't 100% convinced. The two girls tried sneaking through the back of the classroom but with Emily's very poor foot-eye coordination she managed to walk into an empty chair. The chair flew across the floor making a bang louder than any firework ever. Suddenly all eyes were on the two girls walking into class late. The teacher was now aware of their presence.

"Why are you girls late?" he asked. Panic stricken Ellie blurted "Their was an accident. Involving a taxi." Emily looked at her as if she had just announced to the entire class she had just been to Wonderland and was engaged to the mad hatter. The teachers face suddenly became very distant and his eyes widened. It looked as though the girls had just brought up some terrible memory from his childhood. Ellie and Emily moved to sit down at the back of the room as slowly as they could possibly manage without waking the teacher from his distantness.

"The taxi plan wasn't such a bad idea now was it?" Emily smiled smugly. "Shut up" Ellie said back, although her voice was muffled by her sleeve covered hands covering her mouth. "Aha okay okay. So whose Mr. NewGuy?! Emily exclaimed excitedly. This was probably the most exciting thing to happen in psychology all year long.

"How would I know" answered Ellie.

"Okay so today we are going to take a test" Mr. NewGuy said. Ellie and Emily sighed. What?! They'd never been told about a test! "You will be working in pairs"

Emily jumped and immediately snaked her arms around Ellie in a protective bubble as if to say Ellie is mine and you guys cannot be her partner. Ellie repeated the action to Emily. Nobody could steal their partners. They were partners in crime... no one could change that.

Walking round handing out the test to the pairs Mr.NewGuy explained about the test. "Do not put your full name on it, only your initials to ensure full anonymity" Emily turned to Ellie. Anonymity? She seemed to be asking Ellie telepathically. Ellie just shrugged, who knows.

"You may now begin" announced Mr. NewGuy (still unsure of his real name...)

Ellie and Emily opened the first page of the test, not forgetting to write on their initials, and stopped. They looked at each other. What on earth was this? 'What is the best way find a finger print?' Everyone else seemed to be scribbling down answers as if they had a motor attached to their arm.

"What does this have to do with psychology?" Emily whispered to Ellie.

"I actually have no idea" replied Ellie. Emily was now glancing round the room to see if she could figure out what everyone else was writing or if watching everyone else work would suddenly give her the answer. Giving up on this extremely brilliant plan Emily turned back to Ellie "Well I have no idea at all what any of the answers are" she said.

"Well we can't write nothing!"

"Just put stupid answers then. What was the first question?" She searched the page "'What is the best way to find a fingerprint?'" Emily recited.

"Honey" Said Ellie.

"What?"

"Honey" Ellie repeated

"Okay, good idea" Emily said picking up the pencil and writing: you will need to use a good sized dollop of honey. Place onto surface. Then use hairdryer to dry honey. Peel dried honey off surface and you have your fingerprint. Ellie couldn't contain her laughter at the bizarre method they had just come up with.

"Okay next question" said Ellie, still smiling, and grabbed the pen off Emily.
