Promise

"Hey babe! I'm home." Yoongi yells once he got home from work. But all he got, is silence.

"Babe? Jiminie?" The elder wonder arounds the living room, "I'm pretty sure his shoes are here-"

"Yoongi-bear? You're home?" Yoongi finally hears his boyfriend's response, coming from their bedroom.

"Jiminie?" Yoongi peaks as he standing at the doorway, "What are you doing?"

"Oh, I'm just re-organizing my stuff, as I was looking through my stuff, I can't help looking at this pictures again." The other turns his head, smiling at his boyfriend.

At their bedroom floor, there are a bunch of polaroids scattered all around. All of a sudden, a photo in particular catches the elder's attention.

It was their most special day, the very first anniversary, he remembered that day how they were hanging out with their friends on a beach, while the others are having fun, both Jimin and Yoongi sat at the shore, admiring the night sky above them. As they feel the hot tension going, they kissed, and that's how Jimin got it in the shot from his instant camera.

While Yoongi is in his own dreamland, Jimin stood up from his spot, he embraces the elder from behind, giving a small peck on his cheek.

The elder then turns around, giving a direct kiss on the younger's plumped lips, "I love you."

The younger giggles, "I love you too."

"Yoongi?"

"Yea?" The elder responded.

"Promise me you won't leave me." Jimin extends out his pinky finger.

"I promise." Yoongi interwines his pinky finger with the younger, showing his gummy smile.

Yoongi felt happy, he really does, for having such caring, kind, cute boyfriend who made a promise with him to stay together forever until death.

Yoongi jolts up from his bed, he looks around his surrounding, he let out an annoying sigh, drops back down on the bed, it's all just a dream...

In fact, it is a memory of his and Jimin, his ex-boyfriend.

They broke up 2 years ago, and they never seen nor contact each other. Yoongi realizes he broke the promise, he left him. On that day, he managed to complete all his work, he decided pay a visit Jimin at his college for a surprise, however, once he stepped in, he sees someone gave a peck on Jimin's lips. At that moment, he felt frustrated, his blood boiled, clenching his fist, he walked up in front of the younger, glaring at the other guy, Jimin tries to explain, it was an accident, but the elder didn't listen, the last thing he said to him before he left, "We're done." Then he left, without turning back, his heart ached as he heard Jimin's sobbing.

Yoongi felt the urge to cry again, he misses him, he wants to him back, a live without him breaks him whole.

The elder shakes off his thoughts, it's too late Yoongi, you left him for 2 years, you should've move on. True, that's what he thought, he walks to his bathroom, taking a quick shower.

"Shit, ran out of foods." He closes his fridge, he pinches his nose bridge, how come he didn't realize himself for not buying anything on the way home from work. Fine, I'll buy some instant noodles from the convenience store in the middle of the night.

"Damn it, it's fucking cold. Should've closed the windows right before I started the car." The elder is trembling, he could barely feel his face as the cold breeze hits his pale skin.
