Saturday pt.2

Michael's POV

I look around in the diner my confidence draining fast until I hear in the corner of the room "Michael?" I smile and walk over "and you must be Lucy." I say charmingly 

We're gonna try something new here for a sec bear with me.

Lucy: "Well please please sit! , I'm glad your here for a second there I thought you weren't going to show." 

Michael: "And miss the chance to meet a beautiful woman like yourself I'd be a fool! Why you don't look a day over 21."

Lucy: "Mm close 27 but good try Prince Charming"

Michael: "I can't help it the charm runs in the family" I say chuckling 

Lucy: "Speaking of family what's up with yours?"

Michael: "Extended or just the basics?"

Lucy: "let's just stick to the basics for now." She says smiling

Michael:" basics it is! Parents ooh tough one never met my father according to my grandma though he died in the Army while my mom was pregnant with me. And my mom left as soon as I turned 18 slapped a sticky note on the fridge called my Granda woke me and my sister up and gave us both bear hugs and that's the last time I ever saw or heard from her." I said zoning out I looked back at Lucy and noticed that her eyes were watering and she looked really upset and I couldn't help but snickering.

Lucy: "Stopppp its not funny that was really sad!" She said playfully punching me hints of laughter evident in her voice.

Michael: I roll my eyes "it's fine, that was close to  a decade ago anyways."

Lucy: "Yeah well it's still sad." She says scrunching up her face "You mentioned you had a sister what about her?"

Michael: "My sister? Um well her names Samantha" I say scratching my head.

Lucy: "Uh huh"

Michael: "And she's um fourteen..."

Lucy: "Go on..."

Michael: "And I'm her legal guardian and she lives with me." I say quickly hoping she didn't hear.

Lucy: "Did you say what I think you just said?"

Michael: "Yeah I understand if that's like a turnoff" I say looking down feeling defeated.

Lucy: "What? no that doesn't matter to me maybe if that was your actual kid but it's your sister. I said that because it's crazy how nice and caring you would have to be to put your life on hold to care for your little sister who you easily could have just put up for adoption" she says her light blue eyes almost sparkling "That's it I don't do this ver often and I'm a little rusty this being my first date in a while but Michael Adams Locket will you do the honors of going out with me?" She's says snuggling her head up on my shoulder smiling.

Michael: I nearly have a heart attack I did not expect to get this far especially on the first date! I guess times have changed a lot since when I dated "Um y-yeah" I stutter out thoroughly embarrassed.

Lucy:"Great!" She says giving me a big kiss on the cheek

Michael: Gosh I wish I knew how she did it! she carries herself with such confidence! "So what now?" 

Lucy: "Well it depends silly!" She says giggling "Do you want to take it slow and court me right?" She questions while getting up. And then standing behind me where I can't see her she whispers into my ear "Or do you want to take the fast lane and head back to my place."

Michael:At her words I jump in my seat and look back at her curved form and devilish smile my mind racing in all different directions trying to respond but before I know it I'm working on instinct. I look her straight in the eye with the biggest grin you've ever seen and say-

 "Let's go back to your place."
