.... That our friendship lasted a long way back. I remember I was the outcast of the class. No friends at all. Then came 1st grade and a new student came along. That's when I met Anthonette. Unlike me, everyone wanted to hang out with her. But she ignored everyone else. And the only person she would talk to is me. And since then, we became best friends for life.
We grew up together. Day by day, we grew closer the more time we spend with each other. We would spend hours (and I mean HOURS) playing in the lush green forest. We go there everyday and exchange secrets. But I didn't realize she kept one secret from me.
When we reached our teenage years, Anthonette revealed her biggest secret. We met in the forest we would always play in and exchange secrets and she began to tell me all about it. "I know it sounds hard to believe, but its true. I'm an angel. But not the kind that you are used to." She sounded so serious. "And what proof do you have about that?"
One thing about me as a teenager, is that I don't take anyone's word unless they give me solid proof of what they're stating is true.
"Never gonna shake that off, are you?" She looked at me with a smirk that I can only call evil. "Ahaha. Will you stop teasing me for once?" I said in return, rolling my eyes. She hit me with a playful punch and continued. "Dawleiryss, I know it seems hard to believe, but you to, are a magical creature." I swear my eyes widened at this. Anthonette never lied to me. So why would she try to pull my leg now?
"A - are you sure?" I stammered. Anthonette looked at me as if to say "Don't you trust me?" I immediately stopped because Anthonette can get quite scary when she's mad. And in a few minutes, a scepter was summoned. And then the world vanished.
