"You first." You said. Mark smiled and blushed.
"Well, I was wondering, could I come inside for a bit?" He asked. You gave a small giggle.
"Sorry Mark but not tonight. Maybe next time." You said. Mark looked a bit sad but grinned.
"Yeah, sure." He said. You both waved at each other and you watched as Mark drove off.
He never returned your calls or texts. You wandered what you did wrong but one day, a month later, you saw him at a coffee shop. You talked to him and found out he thought you rejected him.
You were heartbroken to find out had had since found a girlfriend.
