It's a stormy night in Amsterdam. Most people are sleeping now. Yet, there's a girl running through an alley. Tears running over her cheeks. Not only tears, sweat too. Lots of it. Her hair is wet, not from sweat or tears, but from the rain. Thunder hits a light right next to the teenage girl. She screams, but runs anyways. She takes off her black leather jacket to reveal a dark-blue shirt. Not only she reveals a shirt, but also some tattoos, her arms are full with them. She runs towards a bridge and stops on the highest point of it. Her reflection in the water reveals how scared she is. It's inhuman. She wipes away her tears and looks towards where she came from and runs the other way. Suddenly a bus pulls up in front of her. A male, from around 20 years old steps out. The girl turns around but a bus pulls up there too. On her right and left side are houses, she's got nowhere to go. The 20-what man walks towards her with one of his hands on his back. "Alright girl, don't scream, you'll be just fine." Based on his voice she thinks he's 16 or 17 years old. "Wha-wait!" She says, ducking away. The male takes his hand from his back and reveals a pistol. "You know, this is a 9 millimetre caliber pistol. I can kill you with this." "No, wh-why?" The girl walks backwards. "Let's make this quick." The driver, a female, from the other bus steps out of it. She carries a knife. The girl thinks it's a butcher knife. At least, she thinks that it looks like it. Suddenly, the male runs towards the girl and puts the gun to her head. Tears stream down the face of the girl. Het dark-blue shirt turning even darker. "I'm going to shoot you in the head and if you work along my friend here won't chop you up. Okay?" The male reloads the gun. The girl nods.
At 6 in the morning Martin Luminère wakes up. He puts his feet out of bed and walks towards his bedroom door when he receives a call. "Luminère?" Martin answers it. "You need to get to the office. Murder case." Martin sighs. Why always on days when he has plans with friends? Guess he has to cancel the plans again. "Sure, see you in 30." Martin hangs up and grabs a blouse, pants, a jacket and his neat shoes.
Martin arrives at the police station and checks in. "Martin! Come here!" Martin's boss and good friend, Gerard Hussels, calls him to Martin's office. "What do we have here?" Martin says while closing the office door. "A murder, obviously." "I know, Gerard." "Alright, we got a call from a young female, called Sarah Potter. She says she didn't see anything from the murder itself, but that she found the body." Gerard says, while spreading the photos from the crime-scene over the table. Suddenly the office-guy comes in the office. "Mr Hussels! A call just came in, another murder."
