WRONG IDENTITY

Chapter 2 "The Newbie"

As I walked Into the school,i saw some of my female classmate,who kinda dislike me actually it not my fault ,it not my fault ,it because am pretty and smart(am actually praising myself), which made almost all the boys in my class get attracted to me.The leader of the rival gang SELENA,she saw me and made a mockery of me;I just pretended I didn't hear her to avoid trouble on the first day of resumption.I avoided all the letters some of the male guys sent to me in class.

I got into my class as a high school girl we've all got that favorite desk and chair will like to use. I sat down listening to some other students gossiping about stuff like dating,kissing and so on.

I notice something strange about the class,so I decided to look back and i saw a cute guy with a nice haircut,he is a new student in our school;I guessed maybe he just relocated to our neighborhood, he was having a smooth face,well trimmed eye brow and he was with his mp3 and earphone listening to music...I was able to hear him humming to a song,i said deep down inside of me that this guy might be the music type.

It was now time for lessons to start,our biology teacher MR.JOHN got inside the class and greeted us and welcomed us back to school for the new session,the other students replied ,I keep just kept mute.

Hey,you get up and introduced yourself(referring to the new student)said Mr.john,the new student got up and introduced himself,these are the statement he made......

"My Name Is Griffin,We Just moved to the neighborhood,and my parent enrolled me in this school,nice to meet you all Griffin said".Some people murmured at him,but I found myself replying very loud to him,my voice overshadowed the other students; saying nice to meet you too Griffin, all eyes were on me and most of them started laughing and SELENA said "So I never knew someone can talk, I thought she was a statue" and everyone in class started laughing.

Will you all shut up said Mr.john.... Griffin you can take your sit said Mr.john......i was somehow sad and was looking at Griffin,and he gave me a smile,and the class continued.

**IT NOW LUNCH TIME**

Hey sad girl,why are you sitting alone here don't you have friends to mingle with,or are the shy type Griffin said , I look at him he was smiling with two cup of orange juice in his hand,it was chilled he extended it to me and gave it to me.

I am Griffin,griffin said....I replied I know the new boy in my class,the newest kid in the neighborhood Mitchelle said.Griffin raised one of his eye brow and gave a smirk.

Something is strange here? Griffin said

I looked at his face and said what's up?

Griffin adjusted his tie and drop his drink and he cleared his throat and sang "hey sad girl,you don't mingle with people,can I know you, can I know what's up with you,what your name,let me see you smile.

As he was singing I was like WOW!!!....I had butterflies in my stomach,I felt like hugging him,he has a good voice for a guy....I didn't know he was through with his singing and he was staring at me waiting for my reply.....I snapped out of it immediately and adjusted my self and said my name is MITCHELLE SAM.

Nice to meet you, Mitchelle Sam ...I guess I didn't properly introduced myself... Griffin said

I looked at his face and was kinda surprised and confused at the same time.....

What do you mean Griffin? I said

Griffin laughed and said my name is GRIFFIN GERALD. I looked at his face and started smiling and said you really got me scared there.

The bell rang and Griffin said "I guess lunch is over",he said it while he got up,he adjusted his trouser and he extended his hand to me,to my surprise I saw myself reaching for his hand, like I was under a spell. We walked together to class and continued the remaining lessons.

School is now over for the day,I walked outside the school gate minding my business as usual, but what was on my thought was Griffin face and smile, thinking how cute he was...I realized I was thinking about him too much,I snapped out of it and quicken my footsteps.

I heard someone shouting......Hey Mitchelle wait up,I looked back to look at who was screaming my name so loud...I saw it was Griffin,he was running towards me.I stood still to wait for him, he got to where I was standing and he bent down, putting his hands on his knees using it to support himself,he was breathing heavily, trying to catch his breathe......

Some one is damn lazy,I think I will be calling you lazy man... I said

Griffin looked up at me and said do you think it easy to run that long distance by the way you are a fast walker.... he looked at his watch and said geez it getting late,let get going.

Are we neighbors? That you are saying let get going... I said

We might not be staying in the same neighborhood,he scratched the back of his head and said that true...I told him, I actually stay in Hastings street,house number 20, you might not know there since you are new in this state...Wow we are neighbors then Griffin replied I live in Hastings house number 19.... I was shocked that Griffin was my neighbor....We went home discussing about the latest movie in box office " AQUA MAN" and when we got to our destination we parted while saying good bye and we shook hands... Griffin stared at me till I got in.

Hey guys...sorry for bringing this chapter a bit late, I was kinda busy for some weeks though....I Will try my best to update more chapter on time..
