Midnight

(The stranger kinda looks like this but not as mean looking, he's more calm and mysterious.)

I felt a scream well up in my throat. I opened my mouth but befor I could make a sound a strong hand cupped my mouth, blocking the sound. 

I struggled to get out of his grip, but my feet were lifted softly from the ground. 

I felt the wind rip through my hair, stinging my face and forcing my eyes into a squint so I could see.

Soon I felt his pace slow down, and then it came to a complete stop. I was dropped ruffly on the hard cement. "Ow!" I yelped

"Sorry.." I heard the boy say. I shakily stood up, regaining my balance. I rubbed my sore but and glared at the boy in front of me.

"What the $*&#% &%$#*~<}!!!!" I yelled up at him. "Who do you think you are?!" I said "you can't just seal someone's kill like that! It's dishonorable!" 

"Plus you can't just grab someone! That's just pervy!" I yelled 

He puts his hands up in a defensive way. "Whaoh, calm down. I was just doing my job! And I wasn't being pervy I was saving your butt!"

"If we were to stay there any longer than the other chinchi would have killed us both!" He said calmly.

I felt the buzz of my phone go off in my pocket, "Yes?" I say answering the call. "Hey mila! It's me!" Said the voice.

I recognized the voice to be Kiki, my best friend. "Um...Kiki I'm kinda busy at the moment..." I say glancing at the boy.

He was tapping his foot impatiently, with his arms crossed. "Yeah, but I really need to tell you something-" she started to say but I cut her off.

"Hurry it up" I said "well they forgot to tell you that your partner was meeting you at the chinchi location.." she said 

"Partner?" I said in a confused tone. "Yes, partner" she said "what does he look like?.." I say, giving the boy another glance.

He gave me what I think was a closed eye smile, which made me blush a little. "Well....I don't know...most of his face was covered when I first saw him....."

"But he did have these icy blue eyes.......they are kinda cool looking..have you seen him already" She said

"Yeah,....I gotta go now....bye" I said putting my phone back in my poket, I look up at the boy before me. 

"So..." I said "we're going to be partners...." I said awkwardly "I guess so." He said with a srug "well, I'm mila...nice to met you" I said

"I'm sin." He said and I gave him a questioning look. "Um...that's a cool name.." I said playing with the hem of my skirt.

"Thanks, I like your name to..mila" he paused for a moment "it sounds pretty cool as well" he said finishing his sentence.

So this was going to be my partner....I look at his icy blue eyes one more time...the world really is full of surprises.

Oh my godyness, I'm sooooo sorry for not updating! I have no excuses! Shame on me! I'm soo lazy
