Love

Chapter 1

-Katsumi Pov -

               I groaned and rolled over in bed, well, Tried to roll over. I couldn't because Gaara had his arms wrapped tightly around my waist. Ever since the Akatsuki had taken Shukaku, he'd been sleeping. I squeaked when I got the sudden urge to puke. I wriggled my way out of Gaara's arms and Raced to the bathroom, just in time to release the leftover dinner into the Toilet. I wretched and wretched until there was nothing left in my stomach.

                 I leaned against the tub, breathing heavily. I felt a hand begin to rub my back soothingly, and when I looked up, I saw Gaara giving me that one rare smile of his. "You've been doing this for the past few days........ Maybe you need to visit the doctor...." He mumbled, Hugging me close to him. I sighed, not wanting to go to the doctor just to be poked and prodded at, but Then I gave in and Nodded. He looked at me with a triumphant smirk, that made me frown. "Fine, I'll go. BUT, you aren't coming with me." I ordered, looking up at him. "Deal." He smirked, helping me get off the floor.

   -Time skip □-

             I sat in the Examination room, Eagerly awaiting the results of the tests. The doctor walked in, smiling brightly. He Handed me the results and walked out of the room. What I read had me trembling with excitement and fear! How do I tell Gaara? Will he be thrilled or mad? I stuffed the paper in my pocket and walked out, thanking the doctor before practically skipping back to the mansion. Butterflies fluttered in my belly as I grew more and more nervous. I mean, it isn't everyday that you tell the Kazekage that he's going to be a daddy. I bit my lip, and Entered the house. when i turned around, I let out a shriek of fear when i saw Gaara standing close to me. Like, chest to chest.

               " Gaara! You scared me half to death!" I whined, and Smiled when i saw Temari and Kankuro sitting on the couch behind him, with equally worried looks. "What's wrong with you?!" Temari wailed, engulfing me in a hug. I frantically tried pushing her away, terrified that she'd hurt the baby. Gaara and Kankuro noticed my struggle and ripped her away, despite her protests. "Please Koi.... tell me what's wrong." Gaara pleaded softly, taking my hands in his. "You may want to sit down." I told them with a grin, wondering how they'd all react. I pulled them down on the couch, mine and Gaara's hands still enter twined.

               I bit my lip and looked up at him shyly through my lashes. "You're going to be a daddy." I whispered quietly, a little terrified of what he'd say. He froze, as did Temari and Kankuro. He slumped forwards, leaving me to catch him. Temari soon began squealing excitedly about how she was going to be an aunt, while Kankuro just chuckled. "He passed out!" I cried worry when Gaara didn't move again, tears beginning to fill my eyes. "Calm down, I'm pretty sure that he's just in shock." Temari giggled, covering her mouth with her hand. I Sniffled and Wiped the stray tears away with the back of my hand.

                   "Okay....." Katsumi sniffled, laying Gaara on the couch with Kankuro's help. I kissed the Unconcious Red heads cheek and Leaned into the soft couch. Temari squealed quietly and bounced in her seat, while Kankuro smirked at me. "Have you scheduled your first Ultrasound?" Temari asked when she'd finally calmed down. I shook my head, and she immediately ran off to schedule it.  Kankuro and I sat in silence, until Temari Ran back in. "Tomorrow at 2:00. I made sure to schedule it when Gaara doesn't have anything to do." She told me, making a grateful smile Spread across my face. "Thank you Temari." I spoke.

-Two months later-

 

                       I couldn't hold my excitement in as we approached the big red gates. I grinned when i saw my brother and friends waiting for us. "hey!" Naruto called excitedly. Gaara had been very Overprotective over me ever since he found out about my pregnancy, and had been reluctant to let me travel, but he'd finally given in. I already had a baby bump, but it was hidden by my clothes. The doctors said I was bigger than I should be, but it was normal. "Naruto!" I squealed excitedly, Waving at them all as we approached.

                 He raced forward and embraced me In a hug, but froze. I grinned sheepishly when he pulled away, giving me an accusing look. "I'll tell all of you together." I whispered to him, making him nod. Everyone talked as we headed to the Nara fields. We all sat under a giant oak tree, and soon, the chatter quieted down. "So, what'd you want to tell us?" Sai asked, that fake smile ever stuck on his face. I gulped quietly, growing nervous, but I relaxed when Gaara grabbed my hand reassuringly. "Well, Gaara and I are going to be parents." I spoke, the words flowing out like a waterfall.

                 I began to sweat nervously when no one spoke, and Gaara wrapped his strong arms around me. "I'm gonna be an uncle!" Naruto suddenly cheered, making everyone jump. The group erupted in excited cheers, making me relieved.
