Part 23

I was awoken from my amazing sleep by my brother shaking me
"Crys come on it's your last day here and I need to spend every moment with you!"
"Okay okay I'm up Cam chill" I said chuckling "let's go make some breakfast" cam said dragging me out of my bed, literally. I got off the floor and waved cam out the door so i could do my stuff. I grabbed my outfit i had put out on the floor at the end of my bed. It was just a grey pair of sweatpants with a maroon cropped sweatshirt, i put my hair in a messy bun and put on my glasses. I walked downstairs to see Cam going around the kitchen looking for something to eat "can we just go to the diner instead of making breakfast" i asked " fine" he said giving up on finding anything to eat. 

I made sure Zeus had water and food, then we grabbed our skateboards and went out the door, closing and locking it on the way out, hopped on our boards and started heading to the diner. We haven't been to the dinner since i was a kid, which is weird because it's just down the street and to the left. 

We walked in through the dinner door, with the little bell ringing, making a few heads turn to see who entered. One of them being Marla. 

"oh my sweet children, it's so good to see you again" she said coming up to us, hugging us tight and giving us a kiss on the head

"it's good to see you again Marla" i said smiling at her. Marla has been here ever since i can remember, she's like a grandma to us.

"have a seat kids, what can i get you?" she asked while taking a notepad out of the pocket of her uniform.

" i'll have plain pancakes and hashbrowns" i said smiling up at her

" never changed i see" i just giggled

" and for you Cammi?"

" i'll have strawberry pancakes with egg and bacon" he said smiling at her

" drinks?"

"just water" we both said in sync, causing Marla to laugh

"coming right up kids"

Cam and I made small talk while we waited for our food, trying to find out what to do for the rest of the day.

" We could go to target and get a bunch of shit and stay at home?" he said

"sure" i answered. 

A little later Marla came back with our food and water

" Here ya go kids, good to see you again" she said smiling, and putting our plates down in front of us. We gave her a warm smile and a 'you too' and she went off to another customer. 

" she's the nicest woman in the world" Cam said while taking a bite of his pancakes

" she sure is, when i'm gone you'll need to visit her more" i told him, he nodded and continued to eat his food, as did i.

* time skip again* 

We just finished out food and went up to pay when i got a text from Corbyn

" Cam i need to answer this can you pay?"

" yea sure, go ahead" 

i walked out the door with my board and phone in hand 

Corbyn: Hey girl, when are you coming tomorrow?

Crystal: We're flying there tonight so probs around 2

Corbyn: we're?

Crystal: yea, Starla is moving with me. I thought Dani told ya?

Corbyn: ohhh so that's the girl he keeps talking about, he said he had been texting an amazing girl but didn't tell the name

Crystal: i knew they were something!

Crystal: anyways, i need to spend the day with Cam so i'll see ya soon

Corbyn: Who's cam
