Chapter 2

Xukun was surprised to see Aria and Jennie in his class. Ziyi looked at ZhengTing who shrugged.
"Hey you guys are friends with my sister right?" Jennie asked. The boys nodded.
"We didn't know Jia had a sister to be honest." ZhengTing said sheepishly. Jennie laughed.
"Yeah, she doesn't really talk about me." Jennie said.
"How did you end up dating Yanjun?" Xukun asked curiously. He didn't know why but seeing Yanjun date seriously was foreign to him.
"Is this because he's a complete flirt?" Jennie guessed. Xukun's eyes rounded and he shook his head.
"It's okay to say that he's a flirt. I mean, he is one in all honesty." Jennie said.
"Does it not bother you?" ZhengTing asked. Jennie shrugged.
"It used to. But I realized that it's part of his personality. He doesn't even realize he's flirting until someone starts flirting back. I used to think he was a player. But after getting to know him, he turned into one of my best friends. And later on I fell for him. And here we are." Jennie said.
"How did you guys even meet? I heard you were in Korea." Ziyi said. Jennie smiled.
"Not exactly. I was born in Korea but I moved here when I was in primary school. I met Yanjun during his last year in middle school. I was a first year. We became good friends but then I moved when he was a first year here. He asked me out before I left. He's one of the reasons why I come back here during the summer." Jennie said with a soft smile. The boys smiled at her before turning to Aria.
"How about you? How did you and Xingjie ge get together?" Xukun asked. Aria glanced at him and looked away. Jennie smirked.
"Sorry, Ari doesn't really talk." Jennie said. The class period passed by quickly as the teacher started to lecture. Xukun was deep in thought however. Aria's eyes haunted him. They were cold and deadly to look at. It gave him chills.

Soon school was over. Xingjie met up with his girlfriend the moment the bell rang.
"Xingjie gege." Jennie greeted cheerfully. He nodded at her and looked toward Aria who was packing her bag. Yanjun walked in behind him and smiled at Jennie who beamed.
"Hey babe. Sup Ari." He greeted. Aria nodded at him as she walked up to Xingjie.
"Ready to go?" He asked. The girl nodded and looked toward Jennie.
"Are you going with your boyfriend?" She asked in English. Jennie nodded happily.
"Have fun with Jie ge. Text me when you're going back to the house." Jennie said. Aria nodded before leaving with Xingjie.
"Ari hasn't changed. She's still as quiet as ever." Yanjun said. Jennie nodded.
"Yeah. But whenever she talks, it's important. That's why everyone listens to her the most. She's our voice of reason." Jennie said.
"I'm glad you girls are back. Xingjie and Xiao Gui were going crazy." Yanjun said. Jennie smirked.
"What about you? Were you going crazy?" Jennie teased. Yanjun smiled and pulled her into a hug.
"Of course. Let's go? I planned a date for us." Yanjun said. Jennie smiled and hugged his arm. He grabbed her bag and the two made their way outside of the school.

Xiao Gui waited as Miu talked to the rest of the student council members.
"Oh Xiao Gui. Are you waiting for Yanchen Ge?" Justin asked as he and ChengCheng walked out of their class.
"I'm waiting for my girlfriend." Xiao Gui said.
"Oh that's right. How did you guys even end up together? ZhengTing ge said that those three didn't live here originally." Justin said. Xiao Gui nodded.
"I met her through Jennie and Ari. We're the same age after all. After Yanjun and Jennie got together, Ari and Jie ge started to go out too. So Miu and I got really close. I fell hard for her. Whenever she was here for summer, I fell harder and harder for her. So I asked her out. She said yes." Xiao Gui said. Miu walked out of the meeting with Linong, Qian and Yanchen.
"Oh Gui. I guess that's Miu's cue." Yanchen teased. Miu blushed and walked toward her boyfriend. Xiao Gui smiled at her and looked at Yanchen and Linong.
"I'll be taking your secretary now." Xiao Gui said as he held Miu's hand. The other boys nodded with laughs. Xiao Gui quickly led Miu toward the exit.
"Those two are adorable." Linong said. Yanchen nodded.
"Yeah, they're the cute ones out of the three couples. Miu's an innocent soul after all." Yanchen said with a laugh.
"Yanjun and Jennie are definitely the most outgoing couple." Qian said. Yanchen agreed.
"Then there's Ari and Xingjie ge. Those two are definitely the quietest." Qian said.
"That's because Ari doesn't talk much. She likes keeping to herself. Jie ge is the same way." Yanchen said.
"Qian, let's go. It's just gonna be us three tonight. I think Ari might stay with Jie ge tonight since you know what. Miu is probably gonna visit Xiao Gui's parents since they love her. Jennie might stay with Yanjun." Rita said as she and Jia walked toward the group.
"Is there something wrong with Ari?" Yanchen asked in concern. Rita sighed.
"She's been down for the last couple of weeks. No one really knows why except Jennie. But Jennie won't say anything because Ari won't let her." Rita said.
