"Finally got those grandkids of ours asleep and the boys are in their room". Ro said walking into the bedroom her and Cre shared. He was looking through his phone when she came in talking. "That's good how you feeling"? Ro sat on the bed removing her shoes "feet are swollen, but I'm fine just ready to lay it down". Cre locked his phone to give her his undivided attention. "We have the doctor appointment in the day after tomorrow. Plump said she'll come tomorrow night to get the girls". Cre smiled "this is the appointment where we see what we're having right"? She blew off getting under the covers "Yea this is the appointment Cre". As she laid down in the bed she had a habit of rubbing her belly to sleep. Seemed like when she rubbed her belly the baby was calm and didn't move much. "Let me ask you something"? Cre said to Ro as she flipped through television stations. "Yes my loving husband what do you want"? She said being smart knowing Cre was going to ask something she didn't feel like answering. "Why don't you want to have this baby I mean we've been doing good, we're married ,I love you and I know you love me....." Cre sigh sadly "I just want you to be happy like I am" he said placing his hands over her hands while it rested on her belly. "Cre I am happy I mean this was something I wasn't expecting, but I'm happy, but I'm also scared". Cre asked "why because of the age thing"? She glared at him and he smiled "okay if not that then what"? "You left me when I had Plump and ran off with someone else I don't want to have to raise this baby alone . I can't that's why I'm afraid" Cre wipes his hands down his face . "This is my redo to do things right this time I'm not going to leave baby I promise. I was young and dumb and even though that's not a good excuse I apologize, but Ro I'm not going to leave you my baby, Plump or the boys". Ro loves the fact that even though the boys weren't his how he incorporated them in everything and even called them his sons. He pulled out his pinky "what's this" ? Lucky "You look absolutely gorgeous" Lucky said sitting across from Plump at this every expensive restaurant he found online. He looked up from the menu "not going to lie before I came I was in a relationship with a girl. We were together for about four years, but she was rushing me to marry her and it tore us apart". Plump replied "four years though Lucky I don't blame her". "Yea four years, but from year two she was harassing me about putting a ring on her finger, and I don't I guess I was scared of what would've become of me marrying her . I mean we were good just as boyfriend and girlfriend". "Yea I get that but every girl dreams of getting married you know. Having a wedding, going dress hunting and you know just the planning and actually going through with it. A wedding is every girls dream" he looked at her she talked about a wedding and saw she was tearing up a bit. He had totally forgot she was suppose to marry the dude his brother and cousin had told him about. "Did you have your wedding dress"? She sigh and wiped her eyes "I did well I didn't have it, but I knew what I wanted . I tried it on and it was absolutely beautiful it gave me this feeling of I don't know happiness". Lucky replied "your day will come again" she laughed sarcastically "I think someone proposing to me is a curse for the other person". Lucky grinned "don't say that your not a curse" she looked at me with this look of lust "what"? "Nothing what you going to order"?
The food came and we started to eat "are you and Corey close"? He swallowed his honey salmon and said "not as close as him and Justin were, but I mean it ain't no beef between me and him. I just don't like that he has to hide the fact that he can't tell my grandmother the truth the lady is going crazy over the fact she doesn't know what happen to Justin". "Justin was a messed up individual I didn't see that at first, but I loved him you know I just couldn't be with him after what he did to me". Lucky nod "he's like our father their mental and you can't see it from the outside, but the inside they crazy as fuck". Lucky saw her thinking about something "what's on your mind"? She said "I blame myself I mean I thought I was pregnant you know and when I found out I wasn't I was scared to you know say something...." Lucky touched her hand. The feeling he got sent loving chills up his spine . "I don't care what he did was uncalled for having niggas rape someone you claim to love nah that shit ain't cool. You are not to blame understand"? She nods and smiles "thanks".
After dinner he took her back home walking her to her door then his phone goes off letting him know that his ticket was booked for his flight tomorrow. "Who's that"? Plump asked , he showed her the screen "no one just a notification about my flight". "Flight where you going"? He replied "just be prepared if this date goes left". She chuckled "you might as well cancel that flight because I was going to invite you to movie night with me and the girls tomorrow". He grinned happy "for real"? She nodded "I don't know where this will go with me and you, but I want to see. Just want to let you know I don't want to jump into anything, but friends first is good". He kissed her on the cheek "that's fine with me I'll see you tomorrow" she nods and replies "okay". He watched her unlock the door closed it and as he walked back to his car he turned seeing her watching him go to his car. He waved one last time before getting inside she waved back and he closes the door. He was definitely on a high and hadn't been this way since he first started talking to his ex Paris. He was going to move at whatever pace Plump want to move long as he ended up with her. He pulled out of her driveway and headed down the street. While dialing the number "hello" he said sounding like he was sleep "brother"? I said with a laughter in my voice "The fuck you calling me for"? "Meet me somewhere I'm in town". Corey sigh "in town really nigga the fuck you doing here"? "Man just meet up with me I'll tell you everything when we meet" " man okay bruh I'll send you the address to my crib". Lucky smiled "cool I need some money too nigga". Corey sucked his teeth "man damn you always need something just meet me at the fucking bar".
