"Tikki, what's going on" Marinette asked. "Why do I still have a mask". Tikki sighed and Marinette searched her eyes. It looked like she was tired of explaining something.
"It happens to every holder I have. It's this thing called "the test" because the mage who created the jewels knew that the Cat and Ladybug miraculous were the most powerful. They want to test your ability to keep your mask and identity hidden. But the more you transform into ladybug, the more time the mask stays on."
Marinette was confused. "Wait, what? Does Chat Noir have it too? How long will this be on? How am I supposed to tell my parents? Oh-No, What about Alya?" she shrieked.
"Yes, Chat Noir has it too. It'll be on for 7 days but every time you transform it will stay an extra day."
"Oh no, what about HAWKMOTH? How am I supposed to deal with akumas?" she whined as she slumped on the bed. Typical Marinette.
"Come on Marinette, you can get through this! Don't worry." Tikki encouraged. "Every other holder did too!"
Marinette stood while breathing heavily. "But how am I supposed to cover it? I still have school." she thought out loud.
Tikki tried to fly faster to catch up with Marinette, who was currently pacing non-stop. Suddenly, Tikki stopped which caused Marinette to abruptly stop, trip over the chaise, and land face first on the trunk next to her couch.
"I've got it" she exclaimed. She dove into the bag of makeup that was given to Marinette from Alya. It was Mari's Operation 259 to catch Adrien's attention. The other 258 didn't work and they were running out of ideas.
Tikki pulled out the concealer and foundation and held them up to Marinette
Marinette groaned. "Well it's worth a shot"
