"Wake up sleepyhead! We need to catch the bus today!" said my older brother, Awsten.
"Ugh," I groaned; it was 6:00am. "Why? You're 17! You drive me to school every day!" I muttered. I knew exactly why he said "we". He was skipping school for a small performance he and his friends were putting on at our town concert hall. His friends were Geoff and Otto, and they had a band called Waterparks.
-time skip: 5 hours-
"Dang, 'Lil, you okay? You've been really out of it since lunch started!" commented one of my friends, Maria.
"Yeah, it's ju-" I got cut off.
"Your older brother Awsten is skipping school and you're worried?" Mar questioned.
"You can see right through me, can't you?" I deadpanned.
"Yup!" She grinned.
