The minute the spotted heroine's unconscious body hit the floor, the class flew into panic. The kids rushed out of the room to get to safety, Adrian going last to make sure everyone was safe. His friends didn't notice his disappearance as he shut the door behind the last of the fleeing people, locking himself in the room with what was left of Ladybug. Adrian called on his transformation, and once the green light of his miraculous faded, chat noir rushed over to his lady.
"My lady, wake up! Please, you have to fight it!" he said to her. He reached out but Plagg kept him from touching her.
'You don't want to be akumatized too do you?' Plagg warned him from inside his head. Indeed the bubbles of the akuma had completely overtaken her small form, but she had not yet transformed into a villain. Chat hoped this meant she was stronger than the it and would be able to break through.
He caught a glimpse of her face through the swirling black magik. Her eyes were clenched shut and her face was in a deep frown. She grunted now and then with effort, but didn't wake up.
"She can't keep this up forever. I have to do something!" he exclaimed. But he had no idea what.

Meanwhile, Ladybug had no idea where she was. She was lying on something hard and flat but other then that the ground had no distinguishing features. She looked around and all she could see was darkness, though she could see herself just fine. When she looked at herself, she realized she was no longer ladybug. Instead, she was marinette. There was only one problem with that, her purse was gone!
"Hello? Tikki?? Are you there???" she called out worriedly. All she got in response was her own voice echoing back to her. She called again, but instead of a friendly voice responding, or even just silence, she heard a sinister laughter echoing around the area. She stood up and got into a fighting position.
"Who are you!? Show yourself!" she demanded. She might just be Marinette right now, but Ladybug's bravery was still a part of her.
More laughter was her response. She looked down and noticed her shadow being cast by a purple light behind her. She turned around.
She was met by the person she least wanted to see; Hawkmoth.
She had never seen him in the flesh before, but she knew it was him in an instant. Fear ignited inside her as she locked eyes with him, but she stood her ground.
"Where are we?" She demanded. Though she was terrified, she managed to keep her voice calm.
"Inside your mind." He said in the same voice. It dripped with evil and sent ice-cold shivers up marinette's spine, and it seemed to come from all directions at once as it echoed around and back to her.
Her fear increased when she realized what had happened.
"You akumatized me." It wasn't a question, but it was furthermore confirmed by the smirk she got in response.
"Release me! I don't want your so called 'Help'! I don't want to be akumatized, and you can't control a victim if they aren't willing!"
Hawkmoth shook his head and chuckled.
"You are correct Little Bug." he mocked her "I may not have complete control of you yet... but I will soon."
"Over my dead body." Marinette growled at him. He laughed heartily at that
"Oh hardly!" He exclaimed. He walked forward and thrust his cane under her chin forcing her to look him in the eye.
"I won't kill you. At least not yet, I'll just break your very soul. Your miraculous will be mine!"
Marinette glared at him with pure determination.
"Bring it on." Just as the words left her lips, the surrounding darkness turned to a blinding light, so bright that marinette had to shield her eyes from it's Intensity.
