Avatar in Naruto *On Hold*

Chapter 9

A/N: I always used Third person's POV for fighting scenes.

*Fighting Scene*

Sasuke ran at Kanade with the Lightning Blade in his hand and striked her with it. Before it even touched Kanade, She absorbed it and sent it back to him.

He screamed in pain and jumped away from her. Smoke oozing from him. "Who are you?" He asked in a deep and annoyed tone. She kept silent. Didn't bother to reply.

He scoffed and blew a fireball at her but she decinegrated it immediately. He got really surprised and annoyed so he tried using a kunai to attack instead.

She took out her gliding stick and pulled out the sword and blocked it but it was charged with lightning so it went through her sword and almost reached her heart.

She managed to bend the blade using metal bending. She was pushed back but didn't had any serious injuries.

Sasuke stared at his kunai in shock. What caused this?! Faulty kunai? No it can't be, I always make sure my weapons are in good shape... Don't tell me it's because of her?

How did she-? He was cut off by another blow from Kanade. This time he was blown further and right under Naruto's feet but he refused to be blown any further so he stopped himself with a kunai.

He was about to activate his sharingan when Yamato created a wooden barrier. So he's the wood user... the experiment... 

Kanade's POV

I sprinted there when Sasuke jumped out of the barrier, creating a hole at the top.

He reached out his hand into the sky and was about to do something which I do not know. Then this guy with straight hair appeared. Naruto hissed, "Orochimaru..."

The guy directed his look to us and smiled wickedly. He told us we shouldn't be here and should leave now. Naruto and Sakura insisted that they wouldn't go anywhere without Sasuke.

Orochimaru warned them once again but Naruto got angry and I did notice his necklace was gone. His eyes were turning red and fingernails turning sharp. Whiskers became rough and ferocious.

Yamato knew something bad was going to happen so tried to stop him. Before he could, Sasuke landed beside him and they stayed like that for a while.

I think something is happening somewhere? Is it with the beast in Naruto? All of a sudden Naruto gasped and jumped away from Sasuke. Sasuke went back up to Orochimaru and smirked at Naruto.

Gay much? "I'll get you again Sasuke... Now is just not the time..." Naruto told him and headed off. Followed by Sai, Sakura and Yamato. I took this chance to look at him a while more.

He stared back at me, with those red eyes swirling. As if warning me, wanting me to be scared. I stared back at him, refusing to go with his plans.

Took me awhile, to smile at him. He stared at me in confuse shock. "See you soon, Sasuke-kun..." I waved and walked away.

Sasuke's POV

Who was that girl? Shouldn't she be scared of me? Maybe because she deflected my attacks. But how? She wasn't even injured when I electrified her! She even smiled at me! I have to admit she seems a little off.

I walked away to train and get her off my mind.

Kanade's POV

That was awkwardly funny. His expression was confusing. He's such an emo. With duck-ass looking hair. Haha. "Duck-ass". Nothing from him I sensed was good, filled with hatred. Never met someone like that before...

I was already following the teamback to Konoha. In Tsunade's office, she asked us how it went. Yamato explained everything in detail to her. "I see... You may leave the room now, except you Kanade." She told us so I stayed.

"So, I did a research on this lightning bolt you told me to and we found something we have never seen before." She explained and passed me the reports. I could roughly read what's on it but there were some words that I do not understand.

I took a closer look. It says it contained a green-yellowish object... Is that the virus that caused the machine to become faulty that brought me here? Hmm... I see something else inside... It's... gold dust?

Wait, it's not any ordinary gold dust. It's from... Lerius's ring... Was he there when I stepped into the portal? For your information, my gang is a group of people that are extra-ordinary like me. Different benders that are left in my country, we became a group.

They were like my other family. I miss them too... Lerius...Haru... Griffin... Julie. Before I knew it, tears fell from my eyes. "K-Kanade?! Are you alright?" Tsunade shook me violently. "Y-yeah... I'm just... home sick." I sniffed softly.

"Ah, if you don't mind, can you tell me more about yourself?" She asked caringly. I nodded but glanced at the shinobis at the side and she got my point. "Everyone leave this room first!" She ordered. "But Tsunade-sama-!" Shizune pleaded. "It's okay Shizune, I'll be fine..."She assured her.

"Well, I'm actually a princess from the Lightning Country in, another dimension. I'm also the Avatar. Avatar are chosen people who are powerful and is created for peace. Avatars have to learn to bend all types of bending. By bending I mean like this." I showed her by levitating her cup into the air.

"Also, my birthday passed a week ago. I have a team back in my Dimension. It consists of 5 members including me of different bending techniques. We are like one big family. We always stick together during f-fights..." I bit my lips hard to prevent anymore tears from falling.

It's just so sad to reminise good times when u think about it. "Oh... ah..." Tsunade responded. I excused myself out from the room to prevent embarrassing myself any further. I stood at the peak of the mountain and enjoyed the breeze.
