I had known the Kiszka boys since I was in 7th grade. I had just moved to town and was put in a class with Sam. I got really close to him and Danny, we were almost inseparable. Sometimes we would all hang out with Sams older siblings too. I'm not gonna lie and say I didn't have a crush on Josh from time to time, but I always pushed it away because he would never like me. I wasn't pretty enough, or talented enough, or any of that... he was too good for me but we could still be friends.

As the boys began to start a band, we were hanging out with the older kids a lot. I think the boys started to like me a lot more. When they were playing I got to hang out with Hannah and Mackenzi. They were both so pretty and kind they really made me feel welcomed. Eventually, we got so close sometimes we would all hang out without the boys. This was great since Sam and Danny were my main friends, which was great, but sometimes you need some girl to girl time.

After a while, Mackenzi got really close to Josh. They dated for a while. It really hurt me at first but they were both so happy I was "happy" for them. I regretted not telling the girls about how I felt about Josh. Maybe if I told them Mackenzi wouldn't be dating him right now.

The boys are picking up popularity. Sometimes they even go on small tours. I'm so proud of them they deserve it more than anything!

Sometimes I feel selfish because I wish they were here for me to spend time with. When they are home I am pretty much nonstop at the boys' house. We all are. Except for Makenzie, her and Josh broke up, but they are still close friends. Anyways Hannah always sleeps with Jake since they have gotten really REALLY close. I usually sleep with Sam because we have just been doing it for so long.

The boys got back yesterday and everyone is at the Kiszka house. We just had a huge dinner for everyone and I helped Karen clean up the dishes and put away the leftovers. I always helped out, even when the boys weren't around. I would come over and hang out with Ronnie and her parents. Hannah would come sometimes too. It was always fun. I loved my own family but there was a different kind of home feeling at the Kiszka house.

People were watching tv, listening to music, and having big conversations. I just got out of the kitchen from helping Karen and saw that Danny was sitting all alone. He didn't notice me sit down next to him. His eyes were locked on Mackenzie.

"Boo!" I yelled right in his ear. He didn't even flinch. He just slowly looked at me with a face full of disappointment. "Ughhhhh Danny," I groaned "that's the part when you are supposed to get scared and embarrass yourself in front of the—" I whispered this next part "in front of the pretty girl who you can't stop looking at" he blushed a little. "Was it that obvious?" He said. I could tell he was nervous by the way he sounded. "Yeah definitely, you should go talk to her though I mean she is single," I said. "What! No, I can't. She's older than me and probably thinks I'm just the loser who plays the drums" he said. "What the hell are you talking about Danny? First of all, you are the coolest dude I know. Second; you are a hot piece of ass and she would be lucky to have you" he chuckled a bit as I said that. "She was also looking at you all dinner trying to start a conversation with you. If that's not a sign that she is interested I don't know what is." I say. He still seemed pretty nervous. "Danny?" Is start. "Yes y/n," he said quietly. "I have a proposition for you my boy, but I'd rather say it in private so let's go on a walk real quick," I say "To the park?" Danny asked. "Of course!" I assured.

I was planning on telling Danny everything about Josh because I know I can trust him without judgment and he could give me advice. I also wanted to make a game plan for getting him and Mackenzie together.
