The Next Town

Tahlia's POV November 6 2022

"I don't think I could of ever gotten food like THAT in the real world" said Ashlee, I wasn't really listening though I was staring out the window, it was nighttime, I could hear Ashlee talking again she's probably gonna yell at me.

"Hey! Are you even listening!" Said Ashlee, angrily

"No, not really" I replied,

"I said we should probably find somewhere to stay for the night, like a hotel or something" she said

"Ok, I know where one is" I said, getting up out of my seat,

"Ok then" said Ashlee.

We payed for our food and walked out of the restaurant,

"Follow me" I said

We walked though the town for a little while.

"Wow, this town at night really is beautiful" said Ashlee, looking around the town

"Yeah.." I replied

"Where is this place anyway?" asked Ashlee?

"It's just up here" I said, pointing up the street

As we walked up the street, I saw a girl with brown hair, with a boy who I couldn't see very well, entering a restaurant. It was weird, they both look strangely familiar.

"What is it?" Said Ashlee, noticing that I was staring at them,

"It's nothing, don't worry" I said.

We continued walking

"Oh! Is this it?" Asked Ashlee pointing at a building,

"Yep! This is it!" I said, happily.

"It's pretty big" said Ashlee

We opened the door and walked inside

"Woah there so many people here!" Said Ashlee, surprised

"Well this is the only hotel in the town of beginnings, that's why it's so big!" Said a lady standing next to us, she was wearing a uniform.

"Do you work here?" I asked

"Yes I do!" Said the lady

I couldn't tell wether she's a real person or an AI.

"Can I help you?" Asked the lady

"Yes, can we please have a room for two for one night?" I asked

"Sure" she said, handing me a key

"That will be 200 cole"

"Ok" I said,

"Enjoy your stay" she said.

We walked up the stairs and too our room.

Ashlee's POV November 7 2022

I woke up to the smell of something burning.

"Ugh..." I mumbled, I could hear panicking in the kitchen.

"Tahlia! What did you do?" I asked as I got out of bed and walked to the kitchen.

"I was trying to make breakfast.." Said Tahlia. In front of her where two charcoal black pieces of toast.

"Can't we just go to a cafe or something?" I asked, trying to avoid having to eat the burnt toast.

"Yeah, but. Cafés are expensive. And I'm running low in cole at the moment" said Tahlia.

"Jeez fine" I said. I sat down and Tahlia handed my some burnt toast with butter in it, I took a bite, I wasn't to as bad as I expected it to be.

Tahlia's POV November 7 2022

I had finish eating my toast, but Ashlee was taking forever.

"Hurry up!" I said, impatiently.

"What are you? My mum!" Said Ashlee, angrily.

"I'm just saying.. You wanna get to the next town today too, don't you?" I said

"Yes I do" she replied

"Well then hurry up, it's almost 11" I said.

A few minutes later Ashlee had finally finished, I was in my armor and ready to go!

"Ashleeeeeee" I said, happily

"Ok I'm coming, I'm coming!" She replied, she had her armor on an her weapons equipped, we walked down the stairs and gave the office the key to our room, we thanked them, and left.

"Ok! Do you know the way to the next town?" I asked Ashlee

"Ummm" said Ashlee, she opened her menu and looked and her map,

"I just know that the path is over there" said Ashlee, pointing north-west.

"Ok..well that's a start, I guess" I said, a bit unsure.

We started walking north-west to the path. We eventually got to the start of the path.

"Have we got everything?" I asked

"I think so..." Ashlee replied

"Teleportation Crystal?" I asked

Ashlee opened her menu

"Yep" Ashlee replied

"Um.. Healing potions, healing stuff in general?" I asked

Ashlee scrolled though her stuff, I think so.

"Ok! I think we're ready to go!" I said excitedly

"Ok!" Said Ashlee

We started running down the path, monsters spawning around us, we got our swords, and started fighting
