In a colourful sunset that shone across the open fields - a rose pink girl walked through the tall grass. Amy was walking in the open fields in hopes of searching for her blue hero. She walked on for what felt like hours until she saw a blue figure upon a grassy hill.
'Sonic!' Amy shouted with joy as she ran with her heart's content towards the blue hero.
Sonic seemed to have acknowledged her presence (of course from her shout) and faced her. It was only a few metres before Amy could wrap her arms around the hero in a warm embrace. But when she arrived to the top of the hill - Sonic dashed off in a blue blur. Leaving a gust of wind in his wake.
She stopped immediately and huffed from running a far distance. Amy gave a pouting look - disappointed that her hero once again ran away from her. Sadness was starting to wash over her like a storm. Why does he always do that?! It always happens!
When Amy felt her heart break into two - a gust of wind from the previous encounter wrapped around her like a warm blanket. She smiled as she felt the wind's presence. Almost like Sonic's.
That was when she realised that she was never left behind. The wind from Sonic's wake was always with her whenever he ran away from her. Her heart immediately repaired to one whole. Amy looked over to the distance where Sonic had ran and smiled with the blazing sunset. She was never left behind.
