Deadly Lightning

Ch 1

"Caroline! Caroline!" I faintly heard her scream after me. I had to run as far as I possibly could, there was no turning back. I ran further only to hear loud stomping feet, clashing armor and loud commands ordering me to stop. If the Magic Council caught me this time, I would be screwed! (Like you have a board and the nail goes all the way through the board...SCREWED!) I finally reach the end of the hallway and there are soldiers coming from the left, the front was barricaded, but the right was open, but it was dark. I decided to go to the right, I didn't want to try the barricaded wall. I didn't know what was behind those planks of wood. Ignoring the dozens of footsteps behind me, I focused on the intense magic energy I could feel getting closer. I then heard a crash followed by screams and evil laughter. When I got to the end of the hallway, I saw HIM, a tall, very big man, with black, spikey hair and a black beard. He stood in front of me, looking straight down at me with an evil, grimacing smile. I couldn't help but break down on my knees and cry.

"Don't be sad my child, here, come with me." He took my arm and carried me to a stone with chains attached. I saw a man and a woman chained to the stones with cuts and bruises shinning brightly on their pale skin. I stared at them, they looked familiar, but I just couldn't put my finger on it. When I had finished staring at them, I was already attached to the stone. The black haired man walked over to a gun that was now pointed from the man and woman, to me. "This is gonna hurt...a lot." He snickered, the gun loaded and shot it in my direction. My vision went dark, "Gaahh!" I sat up, breathing heavily. I looked around and could see nothing but darkness. I felt my desk for my phone and checked the time, 5:36. I just decided to get up and go to the guild.
