Deadly Lightning

Ch 2

"Orga, fight me! I wanna try out some new moves!" Sting got into a defensive stance. "I don't want to fight you, I'm going on a job later and I don't want to be tired." Orga shooed Sting away and turned around back to his drink. "Ugh, com on! Please?" Sting begged. "NO!" Orga yelled. It went back and forth for 5 minutes. "I can't take this anymore," Orga hit Sting with a fist full of lightning. "You wanna fight? You got it!" Orga motioned for Sting to come at him. "Alright, get ready!" They both lunged at each other only to smash into Master Jiemma's palms, "I don't want you guys messing up the guild hall, so take it outside." "Nah." They groaned and went separate ways. "Caroline, I want to see you in my office, NOW." The guild went silent and all eyes were on me. I started walking to his office, confused on why I was going to his office right away in the morning.'Must be argent.' I thought. "What did you do?" Sting looked at me with a worried look on his face. "I honestly have no idea." I shrugged. "Oooooooo!" Orga teases. I stared at him as I walked, narrowing my eyes, his face flushed and turned around to the counter very quickly. I got up to Master's office to see him already sitting behind his desk. "Shut the door." And I did, I sat in a chair, feeling very nervous about what was going to come out of his mouth. "Relax, you're not I trouble. I just need you to do something for me." The tenacity in my body relaxed and he handed me a piece of paper. I read the paper and then looked up at him and frowned, "Why me? There's so many other wizards that could e taken this job." "Cause you're the one that I believe can actually take him down. Do you not want to go on a job? I thought you've been looking for a job, but none of them interested you. So I thought you'd be interested in this one." "No, I am interested. Thanks, pops." I kissed him on the forehead and walked out, but he caught me at the doorway. "Oh! I forgot to tell you that you'll have to go to Fairy Tail for this job." "Why?" I asked. "I'm not sure but ask Makarov when you get there." I nodded. We waved at each other and I walked down to the guild hall with everyone's eyes on me again. "Sorry guys, you're stuck with me." I put my hands up in a defensive place by my head. The guild took a sigh of relief and went back to what they were doing. "Hey, Sting?" I started walking towards the door. "Yeah?" "I'm gonna be on a job, and I don't know when I'll be back. But I'll keep you posted!" "Alright, be careful and have fun!" He smiled and waved. "Caroline! Can I go with you?" Orga ran after me. "Sorry, no. And I thought you were going on your own job?" "Oh yeah. Hehe. Never mind." He rubbed the back of his neck and laughed. "Alright, see ya!" I waved and headed for Fairy Tail. 'Here I go, Fairy Tail it is!' I thought and walked down the road to the mighty Fairy Tail guild.
