Few days later

"Jungkook!" Jimin's eyes widen seeing Jungkook walk into Jin's apartment

"J-Jimin.." Jungkook gulps

"You guys aren't leaving till you talk everything through" Jin says crossing his arms across his chest

"You tricked us" Jungkook glares at Jin

"What are you gonna do about it?" Jin shrugs as he leaves the apartment but not before locking the two inside to talk

After a moment of silence Jimin speaks

"I'm sorry Jungkook if I made you do something you didn't wanna do..."

"What?" what was Jimin talking about?

"You are more important to me than my career. I don't care if I lose my fans but I do care about yours. What I meant when I said I wish you were  Chanyeol was just me trying to say that I want someone who is near be, cuddling me every day... just being next to me..." Jimin smiles sadly before sighing, Jungkook stands there taking in what the smaller had to say, Jimin's soft voice already tugging at his heart - his heart and body aches to hold Jimin close "... I didn't literally mean I wanted that guy... I don't need anyone when you are the only one I want.... I know whatever I said that night disappointed you..and that's why you wanted to drink the pain away and I'm so sorry about that" Jimin's voice cracks

"How?" Jungkook looks at Jimin dumbfounded "...how can you be so understanding?"

"Because I love you" Jimin smiles, his eyes teary

"You..what?"

Jimin smiles "... I love you.. I have always wanted to say it but I never did because we never really got the chance to be together in a while and I didn't want to tell you over text" Jimin draws closer to Jungkook just as Jungkook does the same

"I love you too" Jungkook caresses the smaller's cheeks

"I know... and I'm so sorry if I made you believe that you aren't worth my time" Jimin nuzzles into the taller's touch

"Jimin.." Jungkook sighs, his heart hurt - how can Jimin be apologizing for something that Jungkook did?

"I get you kook ah.." Jimin reaches out to hold Jungkook's hands in his own, his eyes going soft as he continues ".. you made time for me... you got scolded by your company ... you did that for me in spite of being busier than me and I didn't even acknowledge that..." Jimin tilts his head, Jungkook's eyes water - I almost lost him because of my stupidity "... it's only natural that you assumed I wasn't that much into this relationship as you were...considering we were still in the dating phase"

"Baby I'm so sorry that I even mentioned the break up" Jungkook let a tear escape his eye

"I know why you said it. You were looking for a reaction from me. I'm just sorry my manager took the phone away before I could even read your message" Jimin smiles softly as he wipes away the lone tear "... no matter what, I am in this for the long haul... yes, it would be easier to be with someone closer but I don't want it if it isn't with you and I cherish all that we do even if time is short...you bring me more happiness with your one emoji than anything in this whole world...knowing that you are thinking of me"

Jungkook breaks down at the confession, the lump in his throat tightening "I love you Jimin..you have no idea how much" Jungkook sobs on Jimin's shoulders "...I thought you wanted to be with that guy...and I couldn't take it... the thought that you were even thinking of other guys...it broke me Jimin ah..." Jungkook's voice cracks "I'm so stupid"

"No.. no you are not..." Jimin giggles pulling away from the hug "... we are just two boys who are very much in love with each other"

Jungkook grins widely "will you be my boyfriend ?"

Jimin giggles "I thought you would never ask"

Jungkook smiles as he leans down to capture the smaller's lips with his own, pouring in his love with every slide of their lips together
