I'm now in a spacious room with the village's chief, Rana-san. Despite her appearance same as a little child and combined with cuteness, she does surely looked very beautiful if she grew up as an adult. What an expectation of mine, thinking indecent thing about someone's look. Joke's aside, I've been wondering who are their REAL husband? I mean, there are also some men around the village, but they looked like shotas in an anime. However, some of them even with their wife. Wait, you made.. With that appearance? Wouldn't that make all of you go into the jail for 40 years?

Don't worry, though. They're being destined together by their love bond. All the babies were from different Kingdoms, but they're just from the commoners. Some even have beastkin as their children. Every of the owner of the baby left the baby in their hands. They're such a bunch of cowards, leaving behind responsibility of growing a children. When they grew up, they would be a proper adult. Well, the most oldest in this village was someone named Haruna, Rina-san's mother, she looks like a high schooler. I felt at ease that she looked like a proper adult. How do I know? Pictures, obviously. Yes, that's so what Rina-san told me. Her mother married with her beloved one, but she was taken into an unknown mining place due to her debt piling up 2 years ago. Her husband died after 20 years of their marriage, and she gave a birth in the meantime. The child was Rina-san. And so, after her mother was taken away, leaving 9 years old Rina-san alone, she studied very hard to be a royal person that she almost died due to hunger and thirst. However, due to her rank and mere race, she was just accepted being a chief in this village. Yes, her dream was to take care of every person's life, even be it a poor villager's life, but her dream was crushed when she found out the truth.

"And so, please help our poor village, Knight-sama. You're only our hope. I beg you very much."

"Even if you say that while bowing deeply, I have no currency at all. I may looked like your expectations, but I'm no a guardian. And just because I have this clothes I'm wearing, doesn't mean that I'm from the Royal Kingdom or something. I am so sorry."

"Yes, that's the truth. Don't worry though, Rina-san. I'll help your entire village. I'm gonna stay here for awhile, so don't worry about your village getting robbed or something. I promise I'll protect and help you all in the meantime."

Even the villagers at outside were crying too?! What's with this cuteness overload?! M-my heart!! I'm gonna die in cuteness!! Ahhhh!! After an hour, I actually didn't die. Well, everything's now going smoothly despite I'm just sitting on an old wooden bench. I can't actually see the village's condition because the crowds are blocking my view and having high expectations. What should I do? I don't mind giving them water, but I want a place where the water can stay like a well.

"You, please come here for a second. I have an important question."

I pointed at a girl that was admiring me with shine of hope in her eyes. She suddenly blushed red as tomato as she was encouraged by the people to go to me. That somehow reminds me of an event where I was encouraged by my online friends to confess to an online girl. However, I didn't do it because it was embarrassing despite it was just online game. Such many events happened before I even realized it, huh. I must keep it inside my precious memory.

"Y-yes, Knight-sama? How may I help you? By the way, my name is Emichu Chiriso. It's such a pleasure to meet your."

"Nice to meet you too, Emi. Anyway, is there a well around this village?"

"Yes, there's just one well in the middle of this village. But it had dried up due to harsh weather and requests from the villagers."

"Take me to there, Emi. I might find some clue on what's going on."
