Under surveillance cameras

Chapter 2

You have one shot in life.You either live life to it's fullest or let it crumble.I only wished I could have understood the value of life before it was too late.

I looked through my eyelashes careful not to make it seem obvious.The girls were in one line and the boys in another.Fear spread like a disease in both.

It suddenly became quiet and footsteps could be heard.There were a few gasps here and there but nothing more.

Unconsciously, I lifted my head to see what was happening and before I could even look I was punched to the ground.

"You little bitc*! I told you to not look up!" The man yelled

If it was quiet before than now it was like nothing existed.

"Careful Jasper don't kill them before we even take them home" said a low voice

"Sorry Alpha, she was being disobedient" said Jasper

He then picked me up my shirt and pushed be to stand in line with the other girls

"As you know every year we come to take a few humans" yelled the man

"This year we ran short so we have kindly came back to honour some people to come with us either willingly or by force"

He paused for a secound

"You know what to do" he nodded to his men

That one gesture caused chaos.People were being snatched. Majority were girls.People were being separated from thier mothers.

A girl was fighting back hard so Jasper let go of me and gave me a warning glare before helping the other men.

I took this chance to look at my mum before anything happened.

There she was.On her knees.

The gun was pointing at her.Pointing at my heart.

Adrenalin ran through my body like wild fire.I took off with my heart pounding the ground.

I watched the man finger pressing on the trigger ever so slowly.

I screamed out loud hoping he would stop.

The trigger was pressed and I leaped in hope of taking the shot.

I thought I took the shot.I thought the pain I felt was the bullet tearing my tissue and piercing my body but I thought wrong.

The pain was turning to see my mother's lifeless body lying on the floor.

I burst out crying hard.I ran to my mum and played the strings of my broken heart.

I hugged her as if it was just another morning because it was right?

It must be.Maybe she is sleeping.Yeh she's sleeping.

Sleeping forever.

"Mum" I whispered

"MUM!" I screamed

"Ahhhhhhhhhh noooo no don't leave me"

The pain was unbearable.

Before I could even continue my last moments with her I was dragged away.

I struggled as I tried to free myself.

Punching and screaming I tried so hard to reach my mum but I was held down.

I was frustrated and angry.There a burning flame in my belly and it felt as though a beast was going to come out of me.

These people deserved no mercy.I was going to make sure they would pay for what they did to me today.

With that I was injected and I passed out in no time.
