Chapter 2
It is not Nice to Meet You
The little girl stretched her arms as if she had awakened on her own room. Carrie had clearly seen how pretty the little girl was. Her eyes, framed by long lashes, were bright, emerald-green and seemed to brighten the world. She had a straight nose and a full lips - she seemed to become the picture of perfection. Her long blonde locks flowed in waves to adorn her glowing, porcelain-like skin.
The little girl yawned and looked at her. Carrie closed her eyes. She was expecting that little girl would end up with a loud cry.
“A troll? You’re real? This is so magical...” the little girl said in a surprised tone. The little girl hugged and touched her like she was an art to be adored.
“Okay. Enough with the cutie little gestures you little girl. What are you doing in this dark forest? What is your name? And where are your parents?” Carrie asked in a high tone of voice.
The little girl scratched her back and yawned. “I really don’t know. “said the little girl with a superiority in her tone.
Carrie crossed her arms. This little brat would be a big problem. Her expectations were right. Now, she hated the thought as to why she agreed with Santi to keep this little brat,
“Here’s the thing. I will let you sleep in my house for tonight. When the sun sets, we find your parents and you go on, live your happily ever after brat life. “ Carrie said with a smirk on her face.
The little girl ignored what Carrie had said. The little girl went to Santi and brushed off her little fingers on Santi’s silky furr. She could see that Santi loved the way the little girl showed her affection on the puppy. And within a blink of an eye, the little girl and Santi became best of friends.
“I’m Blaire. What’s your puppy’s name? The little girl asked as she fondly played with Santi.
“It’s Santi. Okay. Enough with this nonsense, little brat. It’s way beyond my time to sleep. Let’s head home. “ said Carrie with an irritated voice.
All of the smallest atoms in her body became irritated with the little girl. How dare she asked for Santi’s name but didn’t bother to ask for her name. She led the way to her home. Blaire and Santi were following her. Blaire sang a song on their way to her home.
Carrie’s home was located at the tip of the forest. Blaire looked so amaze at the sight. Everything seemed beautiful. As Carrie, opened the big door of the old tree which had an antique lock on it, Blaire grew excited.
