soulmates

I woke up to this feeling a well known burning sensation on my wrist. We are all born with imprints of a design on our wrist that match our soulmate. Mine was a yin yang sign.

My mother found my father when she was around my age. I jumped out of bed still wearing my blue bunny pajamas.

I checked my phone it was around 8:30 in the morning. I had to go now or my soulmate would be gone again. Today was the day, the day I'd find them.

I've always wondered if my soulmate was going to be a girl or a guy. I didn't mind one bit, all of my other friends already found their soulmate.

I walked outside seeing the bright sun in the sky. I walked around mostly the areas where my wrist hurt the worst at. It was like a game of hot or cold.

I finally cut through the ally way and made my way to the skate park. I looked down only realizing I still had my blue bunny pajamas on with my blue slippers.

I overheard these two guys talking.

"josh, they've gotta be out there, I can feel them close my arm it's tingling more than it has ever" said the boy with curly hair. His friend cherished this moment and looked back out onto the skating park.

I walked closer towards the guys. The boy had spotted me. "hey!" he yelled and ran up towards me.

My breath hitched for a moment and he began to speak again. "a-are you my soulmate.. can I see your wrist" I shook my head and he pushed my sleeve up seeing as we had the same imprint.

"i can't believe I've found you" he pulled me into a tight hug. I hugged back feeling as this weight was lifted off my shoulders.

After we pulled apart from the hug he squeezed my hand and whispered "nice clothes they're cute on you" I blushed so hard, and the rest was history.
