Dahlia Arabella (Lia)

Dahlia Arabella, soon to be the queen of the south, didn't want to spend the last few months of her freedom to travel to the North.

Lia, short for Dahlia, didn't want to go to work in the name of vacation. Instead, she wanted to take a road trip with her friends. But here she was, sitting in a car, heading to the North. A part of her was telling her to run for the hills, but another, coherent, part of her knew she couldn't run for the hills.

She told her friends that she didn't want to come, but they still dragged her there: The North. Everyone was excited to see the crown prince. He is mostly known for his handsomeness other than that he is very secretive.

Even though they have their own crown princess, they seem more in love with another kingdom's crown prince.

Especially the trip was for Rosa, Promise, El, and Mark. Since it was the final that the group was coming, Rosa and Promise couldn't stop talking about the prince. So, it led to El's and Mark's curiosity and they also wanted to see the famous prince. Lia didn't want to admit that she was also curious about the prince.

The five of them have been friends since childhood. Their parents were also best friends.

Lia thought they were here for fun and they should have fun.

This was supposed to be her last time to enjoy her life without thinking about any responsibility. She was an only child, meaning she is the heiress. The first female alpha queen of the South. There was never a female alpha of the South, so there was no doubt, some people weren't happy.

The only thing that mattered was her family, and friends believed in Lia. More importantly, she believed in herself. She was determined to show everyone that she was capable of being an alpha queen.

To earn their trust. Since, she will be in charge of the country her dad wanted her to make allies, hence, a very logical reason for her to be here, and stop whining.

She was thrown out of her daydreaming when Rose stepped on the brake: hard. That was when she noticed the mountains surrounding them, and a steel gate ahead of them. Lia could see the roof of a castle.

Rosa rolled down the window and waves at the camera with a bright smile. She is the future beta, and one of Lia's best friends; Rosa was the wild one.

"You really think they are monitoring the camera 24/7?" Asked promise, the sweet and innocent one.

"Dude! Did you see the place? It's a freaking castle! Of course, they keep their eyes open 24/7." Rosa said.

Promise was contemplating this then nodded. "It's beautiful," Rosa said with dreamy eyes, "but I would prefer something more cozy."

"Why don't we just go straight through the gate?" Mark asked.

"I totally agree with that.If Ro can't do it then,I will. But only if you or Ro pay for the damage that will be done." El said, mischievousness in his eyes.

"Everyone is going to wait and go through when the gate opens. Like civilized people.Let me call the beta of the North, god, I don't even know his name." Lia said scrolling through her phone trying to find the beta's number, but then the gate opened.

Everyone was surprised at first but then went through the gate. The drive to the castle was kind of long, when they reached the big castle they all got out of the car. They were greeted by a messenger from the alpha.

"I am Alvin. I am your host for now. The prince is in an important meeting. Please follow me, I will take you to the alpha's office." The middle aged man, after introducing himself, turned his back on them and started walking; the rest following after him.

They walked through huge hallways and through the double doors into a large office. It had huge and comfortable sofas on either side, shelves on either wall, fully stacked with books and binders that were organized perfectly. No pictures, or anything that indicates any personal relationship. There was a balcony on the side. Sofas sitting opposite of each other and a swivel chair behind the big desk that was empty. Overall the office looked simple and elegant.

Lia thanked Alvin, with Alvin responding with, "No problem, Miss Archer. Just doing what alpha the alpha ordered." Then a question popped on Lia's mind "how did you know who I was?"

"We have been made aware of your arrival. I will take your leave now. If you ever need anything, let me know." After Lia nodded her head, he left.

"Wow!" Rosa's jaw dropped while looking out the balcony. Promise was admiring the place too.

"Cool!" El and Mark said at the same time then started laughing. They both were around the same height, built, and handsome in their own way.

"So, what is the plan, alpha, and the future queen?" El was the one who uttered those words with a smirk tugging at his lips. Lia turned to look at him and replied, "I have a feeling Rosa already planned everything." At hearing her name Rosa cleared her throat and started listing the things they could do. We all laughed; They all agreed on doing those things, with the exception of El and Mark not wanting to do a few things like shopping and some challenges.

They waited for almost an hour in the office. Rosa and Promise were tired and was drifting off to dreamland, with El and Mark trying to keep them awake until the prince arrived. Tired herself, Lia stood up and declared that she will go and find someone. She opened the door only to slam into something hard. Looking up she was greeted with emotionless, deep blue eyes looking at her. The eyes were like bottomless ocean, silky black hair touching his eyebrows. He was the most gorgeous man Lia had ever seen.

The man was staring at Lia like a puzzle he couldn't put together. His blue eyes widened for a second in recognition and something else Lia couldn't decipher before going back to normal.

Lia knew who he was, without ever seeing him. He was the famous alpha, crown prince of the North: William Deverux.
