Your weekend alone with Eunseo was exactly what you needed. You two had spent the two days staying at a hotel and just relaxing together. Eunseo treated you to a day at the spa, as well, and you couldn't complain at all. Your stress had majorly melted away, but as soon as you returned home, you felt the overbearing stress once again building up in your system.
When you arrived at Yixing's place Monday morning, he answered the door, still in his pajamas with messy hair and a sleep look. Your heart skipped a beat because, well, he still looked damn fine, but you were surprised he was sleeping in so late.
"Hey, Yejin. How was your weekend?" he sleepily drawled, rubbing one eye with heel of his hand and opening the door wider so you could come in.
You were not surprised to find Yixing's apartment in much greater disarray than two days ago when you first dropped Jinyoung off, "It was very nice. How was yours? Was Jinyoung okay?"
"Mmm, he was fine. He's still sleeping, though."
"I take it so were you? I didn't mean to wake you up."
"No, it's okay. Jinyoung was really excited last night and wouldn't sleep, so we didn't go to bed until late. He's such a hyper child; it's amazing."
You smiled, trying not too laugh at how worn out Yixing seemed as he leaned over the counter. "He does have a lot of energy, but that's because he's a little kid."
"Would you like me to go wake him? He missed you an awful lot, so I don't think he'll be too upset."
"He missed me?" you asked, your eyebrows drawing together in concern. "I always forget he's never really spent so much time away from me all at once. I feel so guilty."
"Don't." Yixing stepped closer to you, his hand landing on your shoulder, "You needed some time to yourself. And, Jinyoung has to learn to be able to spend time without you. He can't be with you for forever."
You sighed, "I know, but he's only a little boy right now. I don't want to stress him out so much."
"You didn't. He coped fine. Don't blame yourself, Jinnie."
You bit your lip, but nodded your head. Yixing's hand drifted to brush some of your hair behind your ear, but then he was away, off to wake your child. He was only gone a brief moment, and when he returned, you couldn't help but feel as if you were practically falling in love with Yixing all over again. He held Jinyoung securely, and your child clung tightly onto him, his face peaceful as he slept soundly. He sent Jinyoung's bag down by your feet, and you eyed the few other bags Yixing had held in his hand along with it, but when you glanced up, you could see Jinyoung had woken but remained comfortably still in Yixing's arms.
Yixing stroked his back carefully, "Your mama is back, Jin."
Jinyoung seemed more alert at the sound of your name and sight of you, and he had no qualms about when Yixing shifted him into your arms. You honestly had missed Jinyoung terribly, too, and at the feeling of your baby boy in your arms, you relaxed substantially.
"Mama," Jinyoung whimpered, clutching tightly onto you, "I miss you."
"I'm here, Jinyoung. I'm here now."
Yixing took a careful step back to give you space, but questioned, "Still no Sehun?"
You shook your head, "He had classes this morning. He didn't have time to come pick me up and come with me to get Jinyoung."
"I don't like Sehunnie," Jinyoung whispered.
You sighed, having heard the phrase far too often from the young boy. Yixing looked sympathetic, but paled as Jinyoung went on.
