"Master Yin, Prince Mu is here. His highness is requesting to meet you."
Master Yin placed down his pliers and the exquisite silver pin in his hand. He stared at Xiao Man who interrupted his resting time.
"Didn't I say not to interrupt me? Haaa.... Fine, just let him in."
He sighed. Xiao Man bowed and left to greet Zhan Mu who entered the said room soon after. Zhan Mu noticed the Master Yin who was busy making accessories had a pair of delicate beautiful hands. He sat down across him and silently watched Master Yin finished the end product.
"So what wind brought you here today, Prince Mu? This one did not prepare any good tea to serve your lord as this visit had been rather sudden."
"It's fine, this Prince did not come here for tea."
Zhan Mu cupped his hands and bowed respectfully before Master Yin. "I'm here to thank you, Master Yin. Your analysis was correct, and thanks to that, this Prince managed to clear the case and all the captured ladies were saved. This Prince do not know how else should I repay this favor."
"No need. If there's nothing else, then Prince Mu can leave. I won't send you out."
His eyes had never left the piece of accessory he had been making. Zhan Mu nodded and bowed a second time before leaving.
"Yes."
A cough caught him surprised. He turned to find Master Yin covering his mouth as he coughed. Noticing Zhan Mu's glance, he turned his face aside as his coughs continued. Zhan Mu went to the table and poured a cup of water which then he brought to Master Yin. Master Yin nodded and drank the water.
"Thanks."
Zhan Mu shook his head and sat back down. Master Yin's face twitched. His expression turned colder behind the mask.
Why is he sitting down again? He's going to stay here awhile longer?!
"Master Yin, have you perhaps caught a cold in this weather? Do take care of your well being. Shall this Prince had the imperial physician come over and have a look at Master Yin?"
"No need, it's just a normal cold. I'll be fine after a couple of days of rest. There's nothing to fret about it. Does Prince Mu have that much free time to walk around? I believe the Capital's Security Headquarters are quite busy, no? Is it alright for Prince Mu to linger around in my shop?"
The tone in Master Yin's words was pretty strong. Clearly spoken out his heartfelt words. Zhan Mu stood and excused himself, not wanting to disturb his rest any longer.
"Then this Prince shall return for now."
"Mm."
After seeing that Zhan Mu had truly left, Master Yin placed down the accessory and sighed. He closed his eyes and took a nap with a contented smile.
It was only for a short hour, yet he was shaken up by Xiao Man who brought in a letter. Master Yin weakly sat up and received it. He was alarmed by its context.
My little brother's sickness relapsed?!
"Xiao Man, look after the shop. I'll be back later."
"Yes, Master Yin."
With the letter tightly grasped in hand, Master Yin rushed out after a change of clothes.
Nightfall came by the time he reached Ji Manor. Arriving at the back door, he knocked lightly. He awaited for the servant to open the door which took mere seconds till he was allowed to enter the manor.
