Jessie's POV
The next day I was up at 5 a.m. Crazy right? But I was used to being up so early. I usually had to be up so I could cook breakfast, get ready for school, get everyone else up and ready, eat and then make sure no ones late. It had been this way for years. Ever since mum died. I was walking round the Cabin with some Spicy Doritos and my headphones in. People were already walking around outside. People like the cooks and kitchen staff who were getting breakfast prepared for all the Campers. Deciding to do something, I shoved some clothes on and walked out the cabin. I had put on the jeans from yesterday but a different hoodie and I had my usual lace up boots on. My hair had been messily. pulled into a ponytail.
"Excuse me!" I called, heading over to a girl that looked like she was struggling carrying a box of vegetables.
"Do you need a hand?" I asked and she looked at me, smiling shyly.
"That'd be great. Thanks." She told me and I took one end of the box. We walked into the kitchen area together.
"Marissa! Who the hell is this? No Campers in the kitchen!" A woman yelled from across the kitchen and the cringed.
"Mum! I'm a Camper! Do you not want me to help you out?" The girl yelled back and I was assuming she was Marissa. Suddenly a woman appeared in front of us.
"Whats your name?" She asked me, she looked rather scary.
"Jessie, ma'am. My names Jessie." I smiled softly.
"Well Jessie. I will allow it this once. Seeing as you're here now. Come try the soup. And my names Lori. Marissa's mum." She smiled as I followed her to a pot. She handed me a spoon with some of the liquid from the pot and I tasted it.
"What do you think?" She asked me and I looked in the pot.
"It needs to be thickened up a bit and maybe add a lil salt. Then it'll be perfect." I smiled at her and she tasted it herself.
"This girl is a genius. Where did you find her?" Lori grinned at Marissa and Marissa laughed. "Feel free to come in anytime you like." Lori added and I grinned, nodding.
"I should probably go now. It was nice meeting you Marissa and you Lori." I smiled before heading out of the kitchens. I wrapped my arms around me as I headed in the direction of the sea.

"You know, you shouldn't be up at this time, Camper." I heard a voice behind me, making me jump. I turned to see Counsellor Lloyds.
"Hi. Counsellor. Sorry. I'm used to being up early." I told him softly before turning to look back at the sea. It was beautiful with the sun rising above it. "Plus its beautiful out here." I added.
"I told my group to call me Daniel, Camper." He told me as he came to a stop beside me. "And you're right. It is beautiful out here."
"And funnily enough my name is not Camper." I almost spat back. "Are you still up to show me a few things later?" I then asked, my voice softening.
"Not if you take that tone with me." Daniel told me sternly and I cringed before looking at him again. It was the first time I'd seen him properly. And he was hot. His shaggy blonde hair was a mess and he was wearing a fitted top that showed off his abs, jeans and converse.
"Sorry, sir." I smirked sarcastically before turning to the sea yet again.
"You're going to get yourself into trouble with that mouth of yours." I heard him chuckle. Oh you have no idea! No! Don't think things like that Jessie! That's not good!
"You have no idea." I chuckled before hearing a horn being blown.
"You should go back to your cabin. I'll see you later, Jessie." He smiled before turning to walk off.
Daniels POV
I had seen a lot of hot Campers in the two years id been working here. But none of them had ever had an affect on me like Jessie. What was with that girl? I went against my better judgement when joining her on the beach and had to fight myself not to look back when walking away from her. Now it was 5 p.m. and she should be on her way here. To the Counsellors Public Cabin. Its where we hold private lessons or tutoring. I had booked it so no one would distract us.
"Counsellor Lloyds?" I heard her soft voice along with a hesitant knock on the door.
"Yes! Jessie! Come on in." I called to her. My guitar was beside me, already perfectly tuned. I watched as she walked and sat beside me.
"Why don't you play something? We'll see how good you are?" I suggested and she nodded.
"What do you want me to play?" She asked and I thought about it for a few seconds.
"How about Wind Beneath My Wings? Heard of it?" I asked and she nodded although she seemed kind of sad about something. She got her guitar out and tested a few strings and starting to play.
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
It must have been cold there in my shadow,
to never have sunlight on your face.
You were content to let me shine, that's your way.
You always walked a step behind.
Her voice was beautiful. I was transfixed as she sang.
Fly, fly, fly high against the sky,
so high I almost touch the sky.
Thank you, thank you,
thank God for you, the wind beneath my wings.
As she finished I noticed a stray tear slip down her cheek.
"Jessie? What's wrong?" I asked automatically, my voice laced with concern.
"This...this was my mums funeral song." She choked out as more tears fell. I gently took the guitar from her and put it aside so I could move closer.
"Jessie? Can I ask what happened?" I asked softly and she looked at me as I took her hands.
"She died in a car crash. I was in the car at the time. Her seatbelt wasn't on properly and it was icy. We veered out of control. Came off the road and crashed into a tree. She went through the windscreen. Died instantly." She told me, her voice almost a whisper. "My dad told me it was my fault. That I should be the one dead."
"Jessie! It wasn't your fault. Don't ever blame yourself." I told her, whilst bringing her face to look at me. She was staring at me with her lips slightly parted. They just looked so inviting! I wiped the tears from her face and she smiled at me. If I just leaned a little closer? No! That's wrong Daniel! Just a little closer? If she moves away I'll pull back! This is a bad idea Daniel! Oh well. I'm doing it!
Ever so slowly, I moved my head closer. My eyes were trained on her lips and I didn't notice here moving closer too. The feeling if her lips on mine was the best thing ever. It was like shockwaves. I'd never felt this before! The kiss started softly and I pulled her onto my knee so she was straddling me. I groaned loudly as she started to deepen the kiss.
"This isn't allowed!" I heard her mutter against my lips. Instead of answering, I licked her lips, asking for entrance. She happily opened her mouth, allowing my tongue to explore her mouth. She softly grinded against me and I groaned loudly. Eventually, we both pulled away to catch her breath. She looked at me shocked.
"That was bad. That was very very bad." I muttered and she nodded before slowly getting off my knee. I missed her in my arms as soon as she moved.
"Shall we continue with the lesson?" I asked and she nodded, grabbing her guitar again.
God I was S-C-R-E-W-E-D....SCREWED!!!!
