Days passed and the day had finally arrived for the families to unite. Both families were very excited for they had planned this event for almost eighteen years. The families agreed on having a traditional ceremony. Meaning that the celebration would began a day before the actual wedding. It began with the Jeonanrye ceremony, in which Namjoon was forced to meet with his future in-laws. Namjoon was accompanied by his parents and had brought a gift for his mother-in-law. Before presenting it to her, he bowed twice before her and handed her a silk bundle. She untied the blue-red silk material revealing two beautiful wooden geese. Both geese had a unique floral design engraved on their wings with a golden paint. The geeses' beak were different colors, one was red the other blue. Yet the both had blue and red strings tied to them. Seokjin's mother was pleased with the present knowing that her son would be loved and protected by Namjoon. While he had no intention of marrying Seokjin out of love. After happily accepting the gift Seokjin's mother led everyone to the dining room and the fest began. Seokjin, himself was not present because his and Namjoon's parents decided they should not meet before the wedding. They believed that meeting before the wedding would ruin everything. The wedding was taking place in Bukchon Hanok Village in a hanok owned by Seokjin's family. The hanok was enormous and beautiful all at once. Having not only an elegant interior design, exquisite paintings, and a glamorous indoor garden. The decorations for the wedding made it even more stunning. For they were put up a week before so there would be no errors. Even with such beauty there was still some gloomy presence.
While both mates were being prepared for the ceremony, they each felt anxious and scared for their lives were about to change drastically. For one, they had no clue who their future mate would be. And for another they didn't know whether they would be able to love one another. This was something that had Seokjin so nervous, the fact that his mate would not love him. He was in his parent room, accompanied by his brother and his brother's boyfriend, getting dressed for the event. When he saw himself in the mirror he thought 'I'm ready'. Yet their was more doubt in his expression than there was sincerity. A loud clap pulled him out of him thoughts and cause him to jump a little. With a slow turn Seokjin face Tae, who as a response only rolled his eyes. And commented, "Finally, I've been trying to get your attention, Hyung!" Seokjin was still surprised about the action, and said "sorry ...what is it?" Tae and his boyfriend, Jeon Jungkook, share a glance. Then Tae ask , "hyung, aren't you nervous? Not even a little?" When Seokjin processed the question, with the deepest sigh he answered, "honestly .... I'm terrified. About it all. What if this Namjoon guy doesn't like me? What if he hates me? Is he really going to be my mate for life while he hates me..." With a worried glance Tae turn to his boyfriend and then turn back to his brother. Saying, "he will love you, hyung. I know he will. There's nothing he won't like about you right, Jungkook?" Jungkook agreed, "Tae's right, hyung. You have very good qualities as a person, that he won't be able to resist and he will appericate." They both stood up and walked towards Seokjin, who was in tears. They wrapped Seokjin in a big comforting warm hug. All three of them stay like this for a moment until Seokjin calm down. Tae wanted to clear his brother's mind so he began a tickle fight and course it end with Jungkook being victorious. Laughter filled the room after Tae whinned to his boyfriend as to 'why do you always have to win?'. They continue to crack jokes to cheer Seokjin allowing him forgot for just one moment.Across the hanok in a guest room Namjoon was preparing for the ceremony. With Yoongi and Hoseok in the room because they were instructed to stay with Namjoon at all times in case he tried to flee. His father did not trust him enough to let him changed in a room by himself. Well his father was right, Namjoon was thinking of running away. He wanted to be free, he hates being tied down. To him marriage was the biggest arch that exist, and he did not want that. He desired freedom, to sail free just like any other ship in the ocean. Sailing as far and wide as it could reach. Yet his dreams of escaping where ruined by the thought that anywhere he went his father would surely find him. The sound of the fakest cough ever broke Namjoon's train of thoughts and brought him back to reality. Namjoon's attention followed the sound to his friends who had being watching him stare at the mirror for quiet a while now. Yoongi was the first to speak, "So have you had enough of yourself or are you going to continue looking in the mirror until the ceremony is over?" He smirked and added another sarcastic comment, "Well at least this way you wouldn't have to get married." Hoseok gave Yoongi a glare and nudge him. "Don't listen to him, Joon. You look good and I'm sure everyone will agree with me" Hoseok cheered him. He got up and stepped towards Namjoon. Looked him in the eyes and said, "Don't worry, Joon. I'm positive that you have nothing to be nervous about. Everything will be okay." As Hoseok reassured Namjoon, he patted his shoulder and then gave him a hug. Hoseok turn to Yoongi and pulled him into their hug. Namjoon could only muttered, "Thank you" to his friends because he knew they understood how he felt. Also because he was sincerely thankful for having them. Their friendship meant a lot to him and he cherish all the moment like this that he had with his two best friends
