My Best Friend's Brother.

Chapter 17

I wake up when my phone buzzes. It is ten in the morning. Who could be calling? I look at the caller ID and it is Harry. I beam because today is starting to be a good day. "Hey Harry". "Hey babe good morning I hope I didn't wake you up I just missed you." "Me too." "Listen I want you to go downstairs". "Ok?" I say in confusion. Niall is looking at me eagerly and I go to the kitchen. "Now open your door." I do what he says and stop dead in my tracks. 

He's here. He is actually here. I pinch myself to see if I was dreaming but I wasn't. He hangs up and I go hug him. "Surprise" he says. I kiss his soft lips and it is the greatest kiss yet. I play with his curls and his hands go to my back. "Hmm hmm" Niall says from behind interrupting. I turn around. "You did this?" "Yes I guess we are even." "Let's go out somewhere on a double date" Destiny says. I agree and the boys give in. We go to the mall and it is really big. It has atleast fives flores. We first go to a clothing store.

Harry looks at a lot of stuff but they are all expensive and I refuse to buy them even if he did. But he did. He came out with at least six bags. I glare at him but he just kisses my cheek.

We then go to this pizzeria. "You have got to try this food when me and Niall came here we had at least three." Wow three? Wow my boyfriend eats. I try a Margherita and they were right it was delicious. 

After that Harry and Niall go somewhere and I just hang out with Destiny. "So Destiny you came" "Yea I had a lot of thought but love conquered me. Anyways what about you how did you and Harry meet?" "Well my best friend never told me she had a brother and when she did she said that he was breaking out of this asylum and coming here to stay with her. She made me promise not to tell the cops on him. At first me and Harry didn't get along but then we did and when we were liker eally close we went out and he kissed me. Since then we have been boyfriend and girlfriend." 

"Oh wow" "I know". "Harry doesn't look crazy." "What?" "Well think about it if Harry was actually crazy he would be yelling in public and hurt people. In my opinion Harry isn't crazy at all he is just normal." "Then why did he go into that institution in the first place. I mean he told me that he killed his girlfriend because she was cheating on him and then killed her family plus her other boyfriend." "Well that is creepy but I don't think he is crazy." What she said made sense but Harry would not make up a story would he?

My question stayed unanswered when Harry and Niall came back. Destiny went back home because she was tired and Harry went to stay in an apartment. It was just me and Niall now. Me and Niall went to that same park and I learned more about him. He has a brother and his hair is actually brown. 

"Thank you so much for bringing Harry here Niall". "No problem I mean you did get Destiny back to me." "Hey do you wanna go back to your house." "Sure". We get up and go to his car. We stay silent while listening to the radio. I glance at the window. This place is somehow very familiar. When we get back home Niall goes to park the car while he gives me the keys to the house. I manage to open it and when I do I stop dead in my tracks. Everything is broken. The pictures, vases everything broken. I go into the living room careful not to touch the glass and see everything out of place. The pillows torn, the couch upside down the tv broken. Someone broke in. I then remember. "Destiny where are you!?" I yell.

I go upstairs to Niall's room assuming she would be there but the room has fallen apart. Her stuff is gone and there is blood on the floor. I yell in horror. I find a note on the closet and a tape recorder. The door opens. "Niall come here please!

He rushes upstairs and looks scared. "What is going on where is she?" "She's gone they took her." "Who did?" "Read the note" I say giving it to him. He looks at it and reads out loud:

You want her come and get her.

"Call Harry!" he says. I call him and he arrives after a minute. When he comes upstairs and hugs me while I cry on his shoulder. "What about the tape?" "Play it" I say. H presses play and we listen carefully.

Hello dear Niall, Harry and my dearest Alison. You want Destiny come to this address. We pause the recorder and I write it. We then continue to hear it.  Bring sweet little Ali with you she might come in handy.

The recorder stops and that voice was familiar. Christian. "Come on let's go I need to save her." We nod at Niall and get in his car.

I hold Harry's hand and he squeezes it tightly. Harry sleeps next to me and I give a little more thought to what Destiny said. Is Harry really innocent? And if he is why would he make up a story like that?

After for about five hours we stop in a parking lot and eat some sandwiches that we got with us. "I hope that Destiny is alright" Niall says. "If they hurt her I will kill them" I say out of nowhere. After eating we sleep a little while Harry stays awake.

I dream about her. What if she isn't alright? What is she is dead? I wake up from that horrible nightmare and Harry notices. "What's wrong babe?" "I'm just scared." He hugs me and Niall wakes up shortly.

We then drive for two more hours and Harry looks scared. "Why are we here?" "Do you now where we are? I ask. "Of course I lived here for the past four years." I didn't understand him until I looked at the sign. It read 'Malik Institution for the mental ill.' 

I gasp. "This is where I was brought to when I was labelled crazy" Harry says. "I cannot believe they bougth her here". This is the moment I never wanted to happen. Looking at it gave me creeps. I'm just scared to go inside.
