The only thing to be heard was the quiet television and a spoon clinking against a bowl of ice cream. An array of cartoons fluttered the screen, all of which Renjun enjoyed enough to zone out while watching. The world was shut off from him, only the t.v. and cold ice cream hitting his tongue on his mind.

Soon his bowl became empty, and he had to blink repeatedly to be able to stand up and head to his kitchen.

He rinsed his bowl and placed it in the sick, then headed back for his spot he planned on not leaving for the night. Yet before he could manage, the phone began to ring. Which he found odd, as his parents wouldn't be back for who knows how long.

Renjun shifted directions to the phone, scanned over the number, and put it to his ear once answering.

"Hey, Mark."

"Hey, are you busy?"

Renjun paused at The older's question, and thought for a moment.

Was laying down and watching movies while scrolling through Instagram 'busy'? To him it was, but for a normal person maybe not.

"No, actually." Renjun replied, and hand running through his hair slowly.

He could almost feel marks smile through the phone and shook his head slowly, smiling himself. "Why?"

"I was wondering if you wanted to have a sleepover," Started the older shyly, "unless that's weird?"

The raven haired thought for a moment. Was it weird? Him and Mark had started dating a few months ago, but they were kinda shy near eachother.

Don't get me wrong, they're very close just. Nervous sometimes.

Maybe it's not weird though, they're close friends and boyfriends and it's only a sleepover.

Of course it's not strange.

"No, no," Renjun started, "of course it's not. You can come over if you'd like? Or I can go there! My parents are gone though uh-"

"I'll go there." Mark cut in, "I'll be there soon."

The line cut off, leaving Renjun to laugh at himself while he waited for the older.

A knock sounded at the Huang residence, it clearly being none other than Mark Lee. I mean, unless it was some murderer with horrible timing. Either way, Renjun shouted a 'come in', welcoming either his boyfriend or a serial killer into his home.

In walked the older, two bags laced around his fingers and a cute smile on his face. He loved seeing Renjun, and they're now alone without dumb friends chirping in their ears every five seconds.

Renjun made his way to the kitchen, smiling back to the other male as he shuffled over to hug him tightly. He inhaled deeply and pulled away, obviously thrilled to see Mark. The younger quirked an eyebrow, "What's in the bags, baby?"

Mark clearly knew he was gonna ask, seeing as he's Renjun, and Renjun must know everything in order to keep stuff in line. He set the bags on the counter and began to rummage through them. He pulled out some ice cream and different snacks, some drinks of the alcoholic kind, and most importantly, some cake mix.

Now, Renjun wasn't stupid, so clearly he knew what Mark wanted to do. So he laughed, picking up the mix and reading it out loud.

"You wanna make cookies?" The smaller spoke, turning to see Mark nodding with a giant grin across his face.

"I thought it would be fun!"

Holy mother of god, Mark was literally adorable. What the hell is Renjun supposed to do? Tell him that idea is silly and they can just buy premade sweets and break his boyfriend's heart? He'd rather die.

Renjun began to open the box without hesitation, smiling happily as he did so and watched as Mark's eyes literally looked like that one begging emoji. He took out the mix and set it down, then running over to grab a mixing bowl from the cupboard and a spoon from the counter.

Mark began to open the mix, pouring all of the beige mix into the bowl. His boyfriend grabbed eggs, milk and oil as well, and they began making their treat.

Surprisingly enough, Renjun was having fun. He's spending quality time with someone he really, really likes, and he gets food out of it. Who ever thought of making baking a thing was a genius.

Renjun happily mixed the mix as Mark oiled the pan and flicked on the oven. Just as he began to scoop the mix, he watched a fast hand slip into the bowl and quickly dab the cookie dough onto his button nose. The ravenette gasped, slamming the bowl down and glaring at his laughing boyfriend. "Mark Lee, are you looking to get smacked?"

The older laughed, "Maybe," he smirked. Renjun rolled his eyes at Mark's response. His face was clearly reddened, but he just continued plopping cookies onto the pan. Mark was such a bloody dork, yet he was the cutest dork probably ever.

"There, cookies are in the oven and the timer is se-" Renjun was cut off by more mix being flung onto his cheek. He growled cutely, and quirked an angry eyebrow to the older. "You're in for it, Lee."

Renjun bolted to Mark, and holy shit, did Mark run. He squealed, bolting in a fit of giggles as his boyfriend chased him through the house. The younger ended up following the younger until he could tackle him on the couch, both laughing as he pinned Mark and rubbed cookie dough into his face.

They both panted from the chase and Renjun let his head fall into the straddled boy's shoulder. Once calmed down, he put his head up. Soon they stared into each other's eyes like a scene in a cheesy movie.

"You're cute." Mark muttered, smiling.

Renjun burned read, very tempted to slam his head back into Mark's shoulder. He smiled in return though, and slowly leaned in until their lips touched softly. The boyfriends kissed for a moment, sadly pulling away when it came time.

"You're too sweet, Idiot." Renjun sighed, running a thumb over Mark's cheek.

not the best ending but i've been procrastinating this for months so hERE
