Days had passes and Feliciano understood Gilbert's work each day. Soldiers would come in and out of the house and always went into Gilbert's office along with Roderich and Basch.

Ludwig would sometimes be called for a meeting, meaning Feliciano would have to wait outside to help Ludwig with his wheelchair. No won was allowed in that room besides them and Gilbert meant that rule.

He was sitting outside of the room when a crowd of soldiers came out, talking and laughing. That was until they saw Feliciano. Roderich them came out of the room, pushing Ludwig's chair. Feliciano got up to help him as all the soldiers watched.

"How about I say goodbye Southside." Gilbert smiled and there were murmuring as they all went outside. It was just him and Ludwig.

He let out a breath when they left, making Ludwig turn to look at him. Feliciano caught his eye and chuckled nervously, "Soldiers make me nervous at times."

Ludwig nodded, "Do I make you nervous?"

"Of course not!" He smiled. "You're very nice to me and polite! Some soldiers aren't very kind, especially the ones back in Italy."

Ludwig was about to speak until Gilbert, Roderich, and Basch came back inside. "It's settled!" Gilbert sang, "They will be attending our party soon." He said.

"Party?" Feliciano questioned. No one ever mentioned a party before.

Ludwig sighed. "Gilbert likes to have grand parties for no reason. But this time he's doing it because of Easter Sunday."

Gilbert smiled, clicking his boots, "Ludwig, can you show Feliciano the Riverbank bridge while we plan?"

Ludwig nodded, "Yes, I can."

Gilbert gave out a happy tone as he went into the other room, "This will be the best party ever!"

Roderich put a hand on Feliciano's shoulder. "Plus it will give you two more time to get to know each other."

"I guess." Feliciano said blankly. "Crutch or wheelchair?" He asked.

"I'll walk with my crutch." Ludwig said, standing up. Feliciano went upstairs to fetch it while Roderich's eyes went weary.

"Woah, it is quite a distance. Wouldn't you feel better if you went with your wheelchair instead?" He asked.

Ludwig shook his head as he stood with a slight slouch, "I wouldn't get used to walking if I just sat in a chair for eternity."

Feliciano came back with the crutch, making sure Ludwig was steady on it. "We'll be back soon anyways." Ludwig said, walking to the door almost perfectly with the crutch under his right arm.

They went out, this time on the opposite direction of the dirt road. Feliciano walked close to Ludwig. When he stood, he was much taller than Feliciano.

They talked the whole way there, passing trees and bushes and they even saw a deer. Ludwig wasn't much of a chatterbox as Feliciano was. They were complete opposites.

"...Then Lovino said for me to not use my paints to paint on him! That's what canvases are for. It was hilarious! He was as red as a tomato is what Antonio would have said if he saw Lovino."

"What kind of paintings do you paint?"

"I usually paint landscape but I just got so bored of the land in Italy that I didn't paint any more." He remembered something. "I've done quite a lot of portrays though. For Lovino, Antonio, my Grandpa, and even my brother Sebastian!"
