My eyes immediately snapped open and in a flash, I sat up. A groan escaped passed my lips as a loud, clanking noise resounded through my head, earning me a massive headache.

"Where am I?" I asked myself, moving my hand to my head. The sound of what I assumed was grinding and clanking metal could be heard as I moved. "What am I?" Moving my hand to get a better look at it I noticed all of the cogs and gears connected to the exterior.

Stretching my arm out with a soft squeak of the gears, I wiggled my fingers just to see how much of my body I could actually move. Random parts of my body ached and I was stiff and sore all over.

I could hardly remember anything about my life from before I woke up in the dark, dingy room; just objects. Looking around the unlit room, I could see gears and sketches stuck all over the walls. I wondered what had happened prior to get me stuck in a situation like this. Wanting to get at least some type of answers, I slowly moved my legs over the side of the metal platform I was laying on.

The joints of at least one of my legs screeched loudly, the sound reverberating off the walls in the quiet room. My joints we're stiff, parts of my legs jolting with pain every now and then. Gently hopping off the metal table, I almost fell as I had landed on some sort of uneven surface.

Holding on to the edge of the metal, I looked down at what I had landed on. My eyes widens and I swear they would've  popped out of my skull if they bulged out anymore. I quickly jumped back on to the metal work table as I looked at the floor at the unresponsive body laying there face down.

After staring at the man for a while I remembered my goal and slinked off the other side of the table to avoid him. One foot creakily landed on the floor which seemed to be completely covered in loose, scattered pages. Stepping fully on the ground, I landed on a slightly elevated part and heard a loud click!

Looking around the room, I saw nothing that would indicate the clicking noise I heard. The only things in the room were the elevated metal table-like object I was on and what appeared to be a journalism desk almost hidden in the back shadows. Spinning back around as a whirring noise began to grow louder, I noticed a white sheet lowering then coming to a stop with a second click very similar to the first.

The screen lit up, piquing my interest and I stared in wonder at what was about to happen. Just then, beefy looking man with spiky, graying hair and dark eyes appeared on the sheet. His build was strong and bulky, yet he had a bit of pudge to him as well.

A low chortle came from his mouth bringing me out of my thoughts.

"Cybernova," the man started with a soft smirk displayed on his face. " my own creation. If you ever see this video, I know I would have died a successful man."

Watching the video, I walked backwards to sit down on the table once again, my eyes never leaving the screen. I couldn't keep my eyes away from the guy. His gruff, raspy voice deep and enticing to me. I continued listening.

"You my dear, were made to do big things. The AHO grow weary and tired of waiting. We are in a war and the opposition to our rain has trumped our plans of genocide by going into hiding. Our forces are unable to succeed in our goal and so, I have put all my time into making you."

The man leaned closer to the sheet and the focus was shifted to the side of a body laying at a bit of a distance. The body laid still, every so often its side would rise and fall, but it didn't seem like breathing. At least not regular breathing. The man's chest would rise and fall too but a lot more often then the other person to take in breath.
