You plan for it since you were a chid. You look through store front windows and see beautiful white dresses of evey style. You picture yourself picking out the perfect dress and standing in front of your Prince or Princess and looking into their beautiful eyes and saying "I do". You look forward to starting a life together and many other things but what happens when your romantic happy ending doesn't come? What's everyone going to think when you don't show up to your own wedding? But wait what if it wasn't your fault that you didn't show up? What if your past had finally caught up with you and was about to turn your future upside down? This is my story of strength and courage. My name is Vanna Shepard... Well now Vanna Foster but you'll learn more about that later. Well here we go this is my gruesome tale of how I got kidnapped the night before my wedding.
I had jst gotten off the phone with my Fiance and I was getting ready to put my PJ's on and head to bed when there was a soft knock at the door. I put down my PJ's and walked to the door and shook my head slowly, it was probably one of my bridesmaids making sure that I was fine and that I hadn't changed my mind and ran off.
I opened the door without looking through the peephole first and I instantly regreted it. There was no bridesmaid but instead a large burley man with a black ski mask over his face. A smirk crossed the mans face and I felt fear grip ahold of my heart, I quickly tried to shut the door again but it was no use the man just pushed me a side as if I weighed nothing. The man pushed me with such a force that I hit the wall with a hard thud, I felt a sharp pain start to raidiate from the back of my skull but I didn't have time to focus on that at the moment. A few black spots danced across my vision as I heard the door close, I closed my eyes and willed the spots to disappear. When I opened my eyes again the spots had disappeared but now I was faced with the reality of life and death.
The mans eyes had an evil glint in them as he walked closer to me, I tried to stand my ground but he was easily a foot taller than my 5'7 height, he towered over me. He also out weighed me by at least a hundred and fifity pounds, so either way I was in trouble if I didn't do as he said. If it wasn't bad enough that he had me cornered against a wall he reached into his coat and pulled out a 22. Magnum and pointed it at my stomach, his trigger finger was softly caressing the trigger. I felt the blood drain out of my face as a million thoughts raced through my mind.
I looked at the man with wide pleading eyes and wrapped my arms around my stomach.
"Please... Please don't shoot me. I'm pregnant."
The man smirked and chuckled softly as he lowered the gun slightly but didn't take his finger off the trigger.
"Oh darling, I am well aware that you are pregnant... I have been watching you for quite awhile now... It is a shame though that you waited so long to tell your Fiance though.'' He chuckled softly again. "Too bad he won't ever meet the little bastard.''
My lip trembled as the man put the gun back into his coat and brought out a roll of thick heavy duty duck tape. I closed my eyes and a soft sigh escaped through my trembong lips. I heard the mans annoying chuckle then his velvet smooth voice was right beside my ear.
"Giving up alrady darling? I thought you would have a little more fight in you... Actually I know you have a lot more fight in you, but it's good that you're saving your energy because you're going to need it later.''
I opened my eyes and moved my head to the side as the man attempted to kiss me. He growled as he moved away from me and paced the room slowly. I knew what I had done was going to piss him off but I just couldn't let his disgusting lips touch mine.night
He came back over to me, anger clouded his eyes and a dark atmasphere had settled around him. He pulled a strip of the duck tape off and ripped it completely off with his teeth. A small whimper escaped my lips as he roughly grabbed my wrists and taped them together tightly, he wrapped the tape around my wrists until it was impossible for me to move them at all. I began to slowly lose feeling in my wrists and I knew that tonight was likely going to be the last night of my life, I saw memories flash before my eyes and I felt a small tear make its way down my cheeks.
