They get back into Jericho shortly, Markus trying to find Josh

Markus continues to search for Josh

Josh links him I'm in the Captain's quarter

Markus responds, “On my way.”

Josh looks at North who is growling angrily

Markus approaches North carefully, kneeling down to her. “What is your problem? You seem quite angry.”

"I know simons alive I can sense his fear" North yells

Markus is not affected by her yelling, and places his hand against the cage. “I understand you’re upset. But we need to settle things, alright?”

Simon whimpers as he heard North's hursh voice

North snarls "settle what I won't him gone Markus"

“I understand that you want him gone. But part of being human, North, is learning to live with those that we do not agree with.”markus states

North growls "I I love you Markus he is in the way

Simon walks away form the door and goes into his bedroom

Markus steps away from the cage, thinking over the best approach. He didn’t want to be aggressive like North had always wanted him to be, he wanted to be peaceful.

“I’m sorry North. But I cannot love you the way you want me to love you. I love you, as a companion, as a dear friend I want to protect. Nothing more”

North looks at Markus "you will learn to love me once Simon's gone"

Simon stares at his wall he hurt his sister Simon starts to cry "I didn't mean to"

“I do love you North. But like I said...not in the way you want me to.” He looks to Josh and waves his hand. “Unlock the cage.”

Josh unlocks the cages North sighs and walks off

Simon cries in the corner of this bedroom

Markus leans against the wall, putting his head in his hands as he contemplates his next course of action. He was very stressed

Simon is still crying in his room

Markus links to Simon. “I know you’re probably scared right now, but I need you to meet me. Come to the roof.”

Markus starts to walk up to the roof

Simon walks up to the roof with tears still in his eyes

Markus heard him crying and quickly turns to him. “Simon...wha...”

Simon sighs  " it's nothing Markus"

Markus steps forward. “It’s something, Simon. What’s the matter?” He cups his face and wipes away his tears

Simon looks Markus in the eyes "I'm just sad that North wonts me dead" Simon cries again
