Chapter three: friends

When I arrive back home I am pleasantly surprised to see Lucy who has this lovely long silk hair which goes all the way down to her waist and Abi who has these amazing lips so kissable if I was gay I would totally want to kiss. They grin at me. "Guys I have so much to tell you" I boast. "Spill the beans then" replies Abi. I bit my lip nervously as my friends wait patiently for my response. " Me and Frank took it to the next level" I say bubbling with excitement. Abi and Lucy look at me in utter shock. There is a awkward pause which Lucy quickly breaks with "So how was it?". I grin automatically shows on my face as I picture it all over again in my head. " It was best twenty minutes of my life". They both smile and Abi
yells "Friends is on we have to catch it". Lucy rolls her eyes but reluctantly nods her head as we charge downstairs to the living room where tune into just in time.

we slurp cheap cider from the corner shop as we watch it although turns out to be a rerun which Abi just wanted to watch yet again. We talk and joke as Ross and Rachel fight over if they were on a break or not. I support Rachel on this one I fucking hate Ross. My mum enters the living room with a large square cardboard box with the dominoes logo on it. Run up to her and give her a tight hug before taking the dominoes and placing it on the floor (our coffee table is already at the new house). We all grab at the pizza taking large bites of margarita.

"I'm going to miss you two. Abi I hope you get with Joshua and Lucy I know you Mike will last" I say sadly. Lucy suddenly looks likes she about to cry a river. " Me and Mike broke up yesterday". Abi and I rush over to her as we try and comfort her. "Why didn't you tell us?" I asked concerned. Abi just shrugs. My mother opens the door and says "you girls gotta go now. Karen needs to finish packing". I give my mum a death stare as Abi, Lucy and I have a group hug.

"I'll miss you guys so much I'll call you as soon as get there tomorrow and here you go". I hand them two small packages. They rip them open to reveal sparkly silver necklaces I bought they have there initials unscripted on a round piece of sliver which is on a sliver chain. They smile at me and hug me again.  Before handing me a joint gift. Its wrapped in pink sparkly paper and a scarlet bow is tied neatly around it. I unwrap it  tearing the wrapping paper off the gift. It's a large jar made out of crystal glass filled with bits of paper some with clear neat hand writing which I knew were Lucy's others with scruffy ineligible writing Which I knew was Abi's.I undo the lid and snatched one of the pieces of paper. Inscribed on it said "we miss you Karen". I grab another which said " you are so kind". I look at my two friends as my eyes swell with tears which run down my cheeks. I try to smile "I'm going to miss you two more than anything" I whisper to stop myself from crying. They both leave with tear pouring down there faces as they leave my house one last time.

My mum try's to hug me but I push her away. "This all your fucking fault" I yell. My mum tries to say something but I charge up the stairs into my room sobbing before she has a chance to. All I can think is this it ,this is it, this is it. Everything I know is about to be completely different. I can't think about it any longer and throw myself into bed so I can enjoy the comfort of sleep.
