The Origin of the Faerie of Knowledge

Joanne Mammola was a normal faerie living by the Ronkanoma (Ron-ka-no-ma) Lake. She was too young to be assigned a job by the elder faerie so she spent her days studying English literature and getting a degree in teaching. She thought that one day she might get to spend her days teaching young children how to read, write, and smile. The idea excited her, though she loved her small home on the lake and flying through the stars in the night sky. One day she was called upon by the great elder faerie. Joanne walked into the elders leaf hut with reverence.

"Carl?! Is that you?!" Shouted the elder faerie.

"No. It is I, Joanne Mammola. You called up-"

"Jesus Christ! I can't hear a thing you're saying, Julia!"

"IT IS I JO-"

"No need to shout I can hear you just fine!" Joanne was getting a bit frustrated with the elder, but did not want to be rude. "Alright Marie-"

 "It's Joanne."

The elder scanned her. "Young lady, are you giving me sass?" Joanne's face turned the color of a ripe tomato. "No mam, I-I didn't-"

"Shut up!" Joanne did immediately and was covered in shame for speaking so poorly to the elder. "Don't be giving me sass. You'll need all of your sass for where your going." The elders face was grim and her eyes somber.

Joanne was scared. "Am I going to jail?" Her arms crawled with goosebumps to even think about a gross, smelly prison. She didn't know if you could see the stars or the moon from jail and she did not want to find out.

"Worse. You're going to a high school."The elder said still grim faced. Joanne's face filled with surprise.

"High school? What's so bad about it?" The elder shook. "Oh Jojo. It's nothing like faerie school. The people are big and bad things run amuck. That is why we're sending you." Joanne was confused.

"We?"

The elder sighed. "It wasn't my idea to send you. It was the Magic Magic Deer." Joanne gasped. The Magic Magic Deer was known as the most magical, most enchanting, most amazing being in existence. "She has created a school for magical beings and has asked for you to teach there. I do believe there is more than what the eye can see to this place." Joanne flew excitedly in circles.

"I absolutely would love to teach at this magic school! When do I start?" The elder pulled her down by the ankle.

"Calm down. Before discussing this further I must give you something you will need for this task. The elder hobbled towards a shelf of crystal bottles, each not bigger than the size of a faeries hand. She grabbed a bottle and went back over to where Joanne was standing. "I seem to have run out of sass potion, so have this instead." The bottle was clear and held a light blue, shimmering liquid inside. On the bottle was a label that read "Wisdom". "Drink this. It will give you the wisdom to do your duty, protect the youth you will be teaching, and hopefully, it will give you the wisdom to know that if you throw one of them out of the window, there is no Netflix or starshine in prison." The elder grabbed her by the shoulders. "If you drink this potion, you agree to the task that lay ahead of you and all the perils that come with it." Joanne thought for a moment, but it did not sway her to think of the consequences of a task so big and mighty.

She would teach just like she had always planned and do her best for the Magic Magic Deer. Joanne carefully uncorked the bottle and tipped her head back to drink the contents. When she set the bottle down she was no longer Joanne Mammola of Ronkanoma Lake. She was Mrs. Mammola, the Faerie of Wisdom.

The Unicorn King and the Prophecy

Vincent Whitfield was the King of the unicorns. Him and his subjects lived in the north east side of Halfbrook Meadows. He ruled there with his wife , his daughter, Princess Meeyah, and "Skippy". Skippy was his shadow, literally. He usually remained a shadow, literally. He usually remained a shadow, but if he was angry or stressed, Skippy would be there. Skippy would be there on what was to be the third most important day of his life (not including the day he was married or the day his daughter was born). On that particular day, the king of the unicorns was incredibly stressed. He had developed a small pain in his horn which, he knew, meant that something bad was coming. He wanted to check the Pond of Prophecy, but he had never figured out how to use it since his father had forgotten to explain how it worked to him before he passed. "How yo doing, Vinny?" Skippy trotted next to him as he paced back and forth. "It's been awhile."

"Skippy, I'm busy right now."

"How do you think I got here? I'd love to help out, but then you wouldn't be stressed and I wouldn't be here."

Vincent groaned in frustration. "Something bad is coming and I don't know what it is. It could be anything. It-" He turned his head that moment to see his daughter drinking from the Pond. "Meeyah!" He galloped toward her with Skippy still at his side. She looked up at him smiling and seemingly unfazed.

"Hey dad."

"Meeyah that water could be dangerous, we don't-" Before he could finish Meeyah's face snapped into a blank expression. Her eyes and horn glowed bright white. Vincent and Skippy looked around as images flew around them. One was of two girls eating ice cream. Another of a boy with his head ear on a wall. All of the pictures mainly consisted of people he had never seen. All while the images were flying, Meeyah muttered prophecies. He's coming. Beware what is not in the tables. Not what they seem. Danger. Battle. For a second the pictures froze. Vincent saw the two girls from before and the boy along with another boy and a small deer. They were all mid laugh and it seemed as if they didn't have a trouble in the world. That's when he saw it. A shadow of a larger deer and the presence of the deer even in the photo made him realize "It's Nan. Nan Doherty is in this photo."

Skippy looked concerned at this point. "The Magic Magic Deer." Not more than a second after that comment was made Meeyah plainly stated two prophecies. They were loud and clear. The pictures disappeared and Meeyah fell to the ground. Her eyes were shut and her horn was no longer glowing. Vincent was quickly at her side. Skippy didn't have to follow. He looked more like a full unicorn than a shadow of one as a result of Vincent's new worry. "

What now?" Skippy asked.

Vincent could barely take his eyes off of his daughter. His daughter who may have just delivered the most important prophecy in centuries. "We need to talk to the Magic Magic Deer." Skippy looked at him curiously.

"We?"

Vincent sighed. "Something extremely dangerous is coming." He looked at Skippy. "I think you'll be out for awhile."

A danger looms for the ones who forgot , Never think anything could make him stop

He is coming to take his throne , unless the saviors can protect their home.
