The sharp, shrill noise of Sheriff Stilinski's cell phone cut through the air, loudly ringing throughout his office and caught his attention from where he sat behind his desk, startled for a brief second before he tore his gaze away from the reports piled thickly next to his cold cup of coffee. He sighed at the disturbing noise and the the black pen slip from his fingers. His eyebrow rose at the familiar number on the screen as he reached for the ringing device.

The second Bailey heard the soft click on the other end of the line, she desperately grasped the phone tighter in her hand and pressed herself closer to the corner of the wall. "Dad!" She shouted in relief, exhaling through her mouth with the corners lightly turned upward.

Sheriff Stilinski flinched at the loudness of his daughter's voice on the other line. "Bailey, why are you calling me from the station if we're both here?" He questioned her through the phone, unsurprised by his youngest child's antics. He picked his pen up once again to continue working on the reports. "Just come to my office."

Bailey awkwardly laughed under her breath. "I usually would, but, uh, I have an early birthday present and I need you to come get it." She pressed her forehead against the brick wall beside her.

"My birthday isn't until next month," her father deadpanned.

"That's why it's an early birthday present," she explained to him like it was obvious. "But I can't get it out of the, uh, box it's in and I need your help to get it out."

Mr. Stilinski reluctantly set the pen down, giving up on the reports for the second time and blankly stared at the old coffee on his desk, sighing. "Why did you bring it here? I'll be home in the morning before you head off to school."

"Well, it was delivered here," Bailey told him as she glanced around the room, anxiously. "Just-- Can you please come get it? I really need your help."

He begrudgingly climbed to his feet and adjusted his uniform as he walked to the closed door of his office. "You know that I do have to get work done, right? You and your brother can't keep interrupting me all the time."

"Well, where would the fun in that be? We've done this for years," she joked before the realization of the situation dawned on her once again. The light smile slipped from her soft features. "But, uh, once you do this for me, I'll go straight home. You won't have to deal with me for the rest of the night. I promise."

Bailey softly slammed her forehead against the brick wall, frustrated by the situation she found herself in once again. Her hazelnut eyes narrowed on the other person in the room with her tongue pressed against the inside of her cheek, willing herself not to act childish and stick it out at them.

"Where are you?"

The fourteen year old pressed her lips together at his question. "Um, well, just walk down the main hallway until you hear my voice. I can scream for you if you'd like until you find me."

"No, no," Mr. Stilinski quickly dismissed the horrendous idea while he strongly shook his head. He didn't dare imagine what the rest of the station would do if his daughter began to obnoxiously scream at the top of her lungs. "I'll just come find you."

His daughter's shenanigans no longer shocked him anymore. The moment she learned to crawl and talk, Mr. Stilinski knew he was in a world of trouble with Bailey. She managed to find herself in the middle of trouble everywhere she went, creating chaos and mischief with her older brother as they grew up. The two year age difference between Bailey and Stiles was never a problem.

"You just take the fun out of every--"

"Bailey Rose Stilinski!"

Bailey jumped at her father's furious voice and shrunk against the wall beside her, half wishing it would swallow her whole instead of facing her enraged father. She hid her face in the corner before she reluctantly turned to face him on the other side of the room near the doorway.
