"Which car do you wanna drive?" I ask pointing to the cars.
"Uhhhh that one." She says walking to the White Audi RS5.
"Ok i'm driving." I say getting in the car.
"So? You and Joe?" Vic says smiling at me.
"Oh no." I say pulling out of the driveway.
"Why?" She asks whining.
"Because number 1. I'm just not ready yet. You know?" I say driving out of our gated community, "I mean we've already been through a lot."
"Yeah I guess. Have you talked to your mom?" Vic asks looking out the window.
"No.. I'm gonna see her tomorrow though. How about you?" I ask stopping at the light.
"Yeah, I talked to her like.. 2 days ago." She says looking down at her bag sadly.
"Hey.. what's going on? You seem sad.." I look at her.
"Um my dad is sick.. he was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer.." She says grabbing a tissue from the glove compartment.
"Ahh girl.. why didn't you tell me?" I ask Vic rubbing her shoulder.
"Because your focused on your career and personal life.." She says crumbling the tissue.
"That doesn't matter.. you and your family are like another family to me.." I say to Vic.
