Chapter 13 (The Truth)

   

                                                 Alexis pov

it was just me and Derek the ride to the loft was quiet i could feel my heart hammering against my chest when we entered the loft "before you say anything" i said to them it was just daddy Cora and Derek "i don't know what happened" i started talking really fast "it only happens when I'm upset i don't know how it just does" "Alexis" i heard someone say i was pacing back and forth "it happened when they came for me and mommy" i said as i kept talking so fast no one could understand me" i mean it just happens i don't know why just when I'm upset in some sort of way" i said as i kept talking "Alexis!" i looked up to see daddy looking at me concerned he bent down at my level "we're not angry" he said as he wiped some tears away from my face i didn't even know i was crying "have you been sleeping" Derek asked me i looked at him and just shrugged Derek smelled me for a second then his eyes glowed red i gulped "who were you with" he asked "the vet" i said "who else" he said crossing his arms i just tilted my head oh crap i smell like my uncles i thought i back up slightly okay okay Lexi think why do i have to keep them a secret again i thought oh yeah because they asked me oh i got it i looked up a Derek "i saw a blind man with a stick today" i said looking up at Derek his eyes got wide "did he do anything to you" he asked as he got down to my level "no" i shook my head "but he gave me candy" i said they all looked concerned i "sighed I'm fine" i whispered glaring at the ground your oddly more grouchy than usual Daddy said "I'm not grouchy" i said crossing my arms they all looked at each other then Daddy picked me up holding my out that my legs were dangling "look at you" he said "you have bags under your eyes" he said i just shrugged "what is going on" he asked i just looked away "nothing" i whispered but i felt my heart skip i remember the nightmares I'm having which gives me shivers "Alexis if you don't tell me this instant" he said "what" i said glaring at him both Cora and Derek's eyes got wide since i just challenged my father "that's it" he said slinging me over his shoulder like a bag of luggage "hey put me down old man!" i banged on his back "I'm not a bag of luggage!" i yelled "i'd say" he said "your super light" he said "put me down!" i said glaring at the floor we got to daddy's room he set me down on the bed i crossed my arms glaring at him "you tell me what has been going on with you right now young lady or so help me-" he said i gulp i don't think I've seen him this angry before i looked at the floor "Alexis please" he said "sigh fine" i said 

"I've been...."i look up at daddy "I've been having nightmares" i said looking up at him he arched his brow i looked back down "about that night" i said quietly "that night Lexi" daddy said looking at me "that's why i don't wanna sleep" i whispered he picked me up and rubbed my back i hugged his neck i felt him rocking me as i sobbed silently then i felt my eyelids become heavy and darkness took me 

                                               Peter pov

I could tell she's cranky by the way she keeps challenging me she even called me old man then she finally spilled and said that she's been having nightmares about what happened i then realized i haven't been paying close attention to her I'm all she has left and i haven't been taking care of her like a father should i can see that she's scared thinking about the nightmares i pick her up rubbing her back as she starts to cry i rock her until i hear her breathing lightly i look to see i got her to fall asleep i lay her down carefully on the bed and walk down the stairs "you two got all that right" i said they nodded "we've been so caught up about everything else we haven't been paying attention to what she needs" Derek said Cora nodded "i guess we have some things we need to fix" i said as i sighed "well its late" i said they both nodded and we all go to sleep i crawl into bed with my little wolf and pull her close "I'm sorry I'm gonna fix this" i whispered
