About a year has passed now, and her hallucinations were beginning to get worse, while there were times where she'd just hear her husband's laugh ringing in her ears... Or the sound of her parents chatting with each other as they chuckled together... Or the sound of her baby brother playing with his toys, who had also died when her parents attempted to protect the house.

She was all on her own, so she knew that it couldn't possibly be real whenever she heard these sounds... But at times, she couldn't help herself and just stood up from her spot and look around the room, just to see if anyone was actually there... Which always resulted in no one being there, but she always wanted to check...

Until one day...

Elise saw someone, instead of only hearing the faded echoes of past experiences, she actually saw a blurry image of a person. It took sometime for the image to solidify, but when it did her eyes went wide. Tears started to stream down her face as she stood from her place on on the ground and rushed to hug her husband. However, when Elise reached him she went through his form and quickly turned back to face the glitching figure. When Carmen stopped glitching he looked massively disfigured, and had an expression of anguish and melancholy. There were many gashes on his body each one looking fresh, still oozing out blood. Carmen fell to his knees as an invisible force seemed to cut off is head successfully decapitating him.

Elise let out a scream as this happened before her own eyes, and she just covered her mouth in horror of what she had just seen... Her husband was decapitated, in front of her, as an hallucination?!

"Oh my god, no, no... Stop it, Stop it, please... No!"

The female covered her eyes as she turned away from the sight, whimpering slightly as her legs shook... Everything was just so horrible, and it was only getting worse as time passed... She couldn't handle this much pain. The light from the screen in the room was still visible, but she just didn't want to look and deal with what was waiting for her.

Elise then heard a faint whisper, one that was far away, barely loud enough for her to hear.

"Why weren't you there for me"

They sounded like Carmen.

She then heard another.

"I needed you"

Then another.

"You should've saved me"

Then the whispers got louder and started to overlap.

"Why couldn't you save me"

"You were to weak to save me"

"I'm dead because of you"

Elise could barely understand the voices, they were all to loud. Saying, practically, the exact same thing using different words.

Elise cried out "Shut up!". Sadly the voices didn't listen and instead got louder, shouting out with more viscous intents.

"You killed him!"

"You killed him!"

"You killed him!"

All of the voices repeated this single phrase over and over. When would this suffering end?!

Elise let out a loud scream, before yelling, "STOP IT! STOP IT NOW!"... That was until there was one voice that cut through the rest... No, not one... Two...

"Elise... Why didn't you come back to help us?" the two voices spoke, causing Elise to turn and look, to see her hallucinations of her parents just standing there...

"You left... but you didn't get help to come and save us... You were young, but it is still your fault..." The mother spoke, and Elise began to hyperventilate...

The father then decided to speak, "Everyone who you have ever loved in your life, has died... And it has always been your fault... You left us behind..."

"You let your husband go for a job he was never going to get..."

"And you... You have officially allowed yourself to be trapped in this web, where the darkness is constantly working on consuming you entirely."

"It's your fault."

"NO!"

The parents repeated this phrase... Until her little brother joined too, along with her husband...

Now they surrounded her, chanting;

"It's your fault."

"It's your fault."

"It's your fault."

"NO!" "It's your fault"

"IT'S YOUR F A U L T!!"

"NO!" The female screamed, using her sorcery to clear the room, jumping up slightly before falling down face first onto the rug... Where she passed out and lost conscious... Turns out she really can't use too much of her sorcery after all.
