This story is about Noah, a girl who lives in Glenroy with her dad and her cat George. Noah's mother left the family when she was 2 years old, and she has no idea who and where her mother is. She has no pictures or videos, nothing. She fights with her dad and the fights seem to get worse everytime. Even though she does nothing wrong at all, her dad gets mad at her for everything she does.
Her crush on a boy in her class who is also part of the Janoskians, Jai Brooks, seems hopeless. Noah thinks Jai looks right through her, but her best friend Becca, who is close friends with Jai and the other Janoskian boys, tries to prove Noah wrong. She hears Jai out but he tells her not to tell anyone about it. And then, finally, the unexpected happened.
