A Not So Normal Day

As it turns out, field trips are not so much fun. Expectually ones that change your life. Thats what happened to me on this field trip to the museum of Natural History. It was our Eleventh grade field trip to discover our ancestors pasts. How boring if you ask me. I already knew I came from a long line of Roman, and Spartans.

Yet, here I am with the very few friends I have learning about all of our cultures.

“Yuna, your off day dreaming again.” I turned to my best friend Liz and nodded.

“Sorry.” I said, though I wasn’t really, I hated anything that had to do with school. It was bad enough I couldn’t read basic English, but It was another thing when the teacher your with has it out for you.

I spotted, Kaiden, who leaned casually to the right wall, also not wanting to have anything to do with this. Kaiden, was the most popular boy at school, though he didn’t participate in any sports, and didn’t talk much unless he had something cruel to say, all the girls loved his looks, and all the boys wanted to be as cool as him. Some, went as far as to try and copy his messy dark onyx hair style, though they couldn’t get it right. To them, Kaiden was practically god like, but I could see the truth, he was no god, but a vampire. His eyes had the reddish tint to them, though my classmates all seem to think it makes him more sexy. Well he is quite sexy...

I shook my head. This is not the time to think of those things. Your Ancestors would not be so happy. You see, I was a Demi-God, half mortal, half God, except I had a little more god in me, since my father side of the family had Spartan blood within him. I was a warrior chosen by two Gods, to fight in many battles, yet since the piece treaty forged nearly a thousand years ago, I did not need to fight, only train.

My History teacher apparently wanted us to follow her, she was a short woman, with huge breasts that could barely keep the buttons of her white blouse closed. Her Skirt as always was way to short for a teachers skirt to be, and her voice, so screechy and bubbly as she talked.

My class continued down the hallway, as we neared the newest section of the Museum, “This part of the Museum,” started my annoying history teacher, “Contains the original treaty of the Immortals, or so I am told, we will be the first to see it!”

I stopped dead in my tracks, I turned when I felt the cold presense behind me, only to find myself face to face with Kaiden.

“Impossible.” He said, with his devilish voice, so sexy and full of charm, yet so cold and heartless.

“You don’t think its really the treaty do you? I mean its been hidden for thousands of years.” I said, trying to put a little distance between us.

“It’s it alright, can’t you see the box glowing.” He looked down at me, cold as usual.

Ignoring him, I looked at the box, it indeed was glowing. “As long as they don’t open it, I think well be okay.”

The museum Curator stepped out, he was quite old, and experienced I could tell, in front of him, camera men, “Today we will make History, and open the sealed box.”

“Shit.” He heard Kaiden hiss behind me.

As we took a step forward to try and stop the foolish mortal from opening the box, there was a huge explosion. Light poured out of the box and we could see a gold treaty rise through the air.

My classmates all screamed and ran in terror, but Kaiden and I stayed, watching in full horror as the treaty shattered into thousands of tiny sand peaces.
