Chapter 1. Government Business

The clouds get darker the more time passes by. Parents warning their children for the incoming storm, hurrying them inside.

One specific location, however, has no clue on the incoming weather.

"Sir, we can't proceed with this plan. What if China goes against us-?" One of the Democrats, Mr. Lee, raises his voice at the head of the government.

"China will never find out," the government has been discussing their final plan for over a month now.

"Mrs. Shin will never agree to this - and that's because she's the one who came up with this in the first place," Mr. Min, his main secretary, informs.

"Well then I guess it's time we go and start proaching those whom wronged us," the head stands up and makes his way towards the window that's over-looking the city.

"That's including the president."

On the outskirts of the city, there's a girl - straight black hair, 5"5, dark brown eyes, thin body, light skin color - who's too busy listening to music and reading outside that she hasn't realised the thundering going on around her.

"Juhie!?" Her sister called from inside. But to no luck, the black haired girl, name Juhie, didn't budge to turn around.

"Always listening to music," the sister sighs and goes outside, pulling her younger sister's arm inside the house.

"What?" Juhie asks the older one as soon as they were inside the house.

"Didn't you realise that it was about to start raining?" The sister - red hair, light green eyes, lighter skin color, 5"7, and has some curves - informs the younger one.

Juhie then turns her head outside, making sure she shows off her sharp jawline, "I didn't realise."

"Ugh, obviously you never do," the sister, by the name of Sohie, scoffs at her and heads into the kitchen. "Dad called earlier."

Juhie's brown eyes go wide, "what did he say? Anything interesting?" Sohie just shakes her head and serves herself orange juice.

"Nothing really, only that the government is still planning on their new invention," after Sohie had finished serving herself, she gives the glass to EunMi.

"And mom? Where is she?" Sohie shrugs and leaves the kitchen, heading into her room, "she didn't answer her phone."

As soon as Sohie closes the door, EunMi whispers to herself, "probably too busy with Jinhoo." She rolls her eyes at the thought of her cousin getting married in less than two days.

Then as if on cue the door opens to reveal the mother. "Juhie, can you help me with these?" The mother had around five boxes on her, along with four bags on both sides.

"Your dresses will arrive here tomorrow," she informs as she enters the two story house. "Why so late?" Juhie asks and helps her mother with the bags.

"Because I didn't order them on Monday. If I was too, then they would've already been here," the mom smiles and sits herself down on the brown leather couch, closing her eyes.
