Y/N
Dreaming about KitKats with wings, fluttering around me with a glowing smile, wasn't unusual—it was oddly comforting. Floating in that surreal world was my escape, and I wanted nothing more than to linger there.
But my head was pounding.
What was this headache?
"Y/N?"
That voice... Hoseok?
"Y/N, wake up," he called again, a mix of worry and urgency in his tone.
This had to be part of the dream. Hoseok's voice, always bright and warm, felt like sunshine on a chilly morning.
"Y/N, wake up!"
Wait. Who's shaking me?
"She's dead."
Yoongi?
"I didn't mean to punch her! It was an accident!"
Ugh, Yoongi again. Why was I hearing his voice?
"Accident, my ass!" another voice chimed in.
Oh, great. The rude transfer student.
"This girl is overreacting. I didn't hit her that hard," he muttered, sounding unapologetic.
What an absolute jerk.
"Boy, look at her! Her eye's already turning blue," Hoseok countered.
What?! My eye?!
"Enough. I'll take her to the nurse. Where's the office?" Jungkook's voice cut through the chatter, and the irritation in his tone was unmistakable.
Why him? Why, out of everyone, did he have to carry me?
"On the second floor, first room on the left," Jimin answered, completely betraying me.
Before I could even process what was happening, I felt myself being lifted. His arms were firm—one beneath my knees, the other under my back—and for a brief moment, I felt weightless. But then, reality set in.
Wait. Was his hand—no, it couldn't be.
His fingers, undeniably, were pressing against my chest. And was that... a squeeze?!
This was no longer a dream.
I debated opening my eyes, demanding he put me down. But then again... I'd never been carried like this before, let alone in a bridal style. It was oddly comforting.
No. Focus, Y/N. His hand is definitely where it shouldn't be!
Still, the warmth of his arms, the way he held me securely... it was hard to resist melting into the moment.
But I wasn't going to forget the others.
"What happened to her?" Jin's voice rang out, laced with concern.
"Oh my God, is she okay?" Namjoon added.
"She's fine. She just slipped and hit her head," Jungkook lied smoothly. "The teacher told me to bring her to the nurse's office."
Unbelievable.
"So, would you mind moving out of the way? She's heavy," Jungkook snapped, as if annoyed.
Excuse me? Heavy?!
Sure, I loved indulging in sweets—especially KitKats—but my weight? Completely under control! If anything, the only places I gained weight were in my hips and chest, and that was more than fine by me.
