~It's Too Late~

Nat walked with Eddy back to party upset Kevin didn't stay for long with Marie.

Kevin and Marie walk home in silence then someone finally breaks it.

"He thought you were my girlfriend"

"What?"

"Double D....he thought you were my girlfriend... he heard when Nazz asked you and saw when you agreed that you are...."

She sighs "I'm sorry Kevin....we...we both screwed up tonight ok..." she looks down " I left the party because Double D came by and snatched her away...I hate to say this to you Kevin but I don't think we can stop them now..." she looks down heartbroken "its not because..." she stops, her voice cracking "its not because of their parents....its because they...." she cant say it, it hurts.

"THEY WHAT MARIE JUST SAY IT!" Kevin had tears starting to sting his eyes.

"THEY KISSED, THEY WENT UP STAIRS AND FUCKED! HAPPY FUCKING SAID IT!" Marie yelled angrily and cried "she was drunk so when I danced with her...of course she told me....how much hates me..." she looks down annoyed and upset, tried to mock Nazz "Maries a bitch...she left me to be with some stupid gang....Maries an idiot she never loved me!....I hate Marie I would've never said yes to her if she asked me to...oh waits she did ask me to marry her and guess what she left three days before THE FUCKING MARRIAGE!"

Kevin cried a bit and felt bad for her, both if them quiet and upset they walked home in guilt and regrets. When they went in the house, they went up stairs. Kevin was walking towards his room then Marie grabbed him and dragged him into her room.

"Mari-ahhh!" he's thrown on the bed and she crawls ontop "Marie stop! you know you can't so it and I can't....Marie...don't do something you'll regret more..."  he looked her in the eyes. She crawled off onto her knees and hides her face in her hand. He sighs and he sits up in front of her "Marie...how do you know exactly that they did that?"

"Because...Nat stepped in on accident and announced it just to joke around, then Double D and Nazz walked out like it was nothing...they were holding each other and kissing" she shook her head "if I would've stopped her....I would've gave away that I'm Marie...." she sighs and looks out towards the window that had a few of the Cul-De-Sac.

Kevin's heart broke at the sound of everything.

'why didn't Nat say anything to Kevin?'

Kevin sighed and looked at her "well you can still stay here if you want, you shouldn't really go back to those messy trailers..." he stands up to leave, when he got to the door Marie stopped him.

"Kevin....wait." she stood quiet for a minute and he turned to look at her "I...I don't want to sleep....can you just stay here and...talk with me all night"

Kevin took a deep breathe and sighed, then nodded as he walks back to the bed and sits with her.

They talk all night up until dawn.

"Wow....didn't even fall asleep" he chuckled "want to maybe go somewhere to eat today?"

She nodded "sure" she smiled a bit and he smiled back.

After they got ready and she changes her clothes but keeps herself disguised, they went out to somewhere to eat.
