It's been a month, a month since contact in Gotham has been lost. A month since Villains started destroying everything, and blowing things up. It's been a month of nonstop fighting for the bat clan, a month without end.

It's been absolute chaos this past month, and we're starting to loose. It's so bad here, it's gotten to the point that I've had to force Robin and Red Robin to deal with Civilians.
We each get one day to rest, one day a week, it's not ideal, I'd much rather us get sleep every night. However, that's a luxury we do not have.
Lots of Gotham is destroyed right now, and even more people have gotten hurt. We're trying our hardest, but it's still not enough.
I've had to switch between Batman and Nightwing, a lot, Alfred has been in the Batcave trying to help us, but it's hard. Our communications outside of Gotham, they don't work, and we barely have been able to get our coms working in the city.
"Dick, we can't keep this up much longer." Barbra told me, as we restock our utility belts, and have Damian and Tim switch sleep time.
"I know Barbra, but what other choice do we have? Let Gotham become a target of a Nuke?!? I know things are looking shitty, I know that things are a lot right now. But what other god damn choice is there for us to choose? The Zeta tubes are all offline, communication outside Gotham isn't working, and we've barely managed to get a communication frequency working." I Said, as I faced my best friend.
"I know Dick, but look at yourself. You've gotten one day of sleep this past two weeks, and you're not stopping." She said, and I faced her.
"I know, but it's not like I can ask Bruce for help. He's still in a coma, and I have no god damn clue what to do." I Said, and that's when the ground shook.
"Dear god, please don't let this be true." I Said, as I sprinted to the bat computer. It pulled up footage of the city, and I paled.
"Tim, get back down here! We've got to go, they just dropped the nuke!" I screamed, and Tim came sprinting down the stairs.
"I'm here, let's go." He Said, but I stopped him.
"First, drink a coffee. You still are in need of energy." He reluctantly agreed, and then we set off. I had Alfred put Bruce into the bat plane, just in case they need to leave.
Anyway, I was driving Damien and Tim in the Batmobile, when suddenly, two rockets where about to kill us. I smashed the eject button, and we got sent flying out of the Batmobile right before it exploded.
"Damn, Bats isn't gonna like that." I Said, as I landed.
"No kidding, the Batmobile just got blown up!" Tim practically screamed, and I knew he really needed sleep. He was getting cranky, and cranky Tim isn't fun to deal with.
'Goldie, you good? We saw the explosion.' Said Jason.
"We're Fine Jay, but we're gonna have to continue on foot, unless you four can circle back round and pick us up." I Said.
'On our way.' Barbra Said, and that's when Alfred called.
'I suggest you also take out more villains, over half of them are now behind bars, but there are still enough to do damage.' He said, and I bit back a scream.
"Copy that, Batgirl, change of plans. You four keep going, and disable the bomb. Robin, Red Robin, and I will work on taking out more criminals."
'Fine, but we're joining once we're done.'
"I hope so." I retorted, as I took out my escirma sticks. You see, I am currently Nightwing, it's not easy pretending to be Batman. And my fighting style is a small comfort in this fricken crazy time, and small comfort is what I'd prefer to have.
